“Great Hotel”
A recent renovation of this property made for a wonderful stay.
“Would go back”
The hotel was very nice. Be aware they charge 18% on every bill for a tip. We overtipped until we realized this. The Cabana club at the beach was great as was the spa service. The pools were nice except no one policed the adult pool for kids swimming. I was also disappointed they allowed children in the hot tubs outside. Ick, never know what kind of bacteria is in there. Service was good, the front desk was great. I was able to check in at the airport from the front desk. I recommend the pub and the pool bar. We also had great meals at Pussers and the Aqua bar, all within a few blocks of the hotel.
“Best Resort in Jacksonville”
Best Resort in Jacksonville. If in Jacksonville you must stay with Sawgrass. From the staff, to the amenties, to the landscaping is exceptional. Everything and more of what you would expect in a trip to paradise.
“Satisfied!!!!!”
The first night my family got in very late, and I noticed that the heating system was very loud and the hot water was not very hot, so I called about the problem early the next morning and was very satisfied with the solution and response to my problems! The staff are was very responsive to any problems and courteous!
“A wonderful resort getaway for a family”
We all loved this resort, especially my kids! They had so many things for kids to do, especially because it was Easter weekend. They loved the pools, hot tubs, beach, everything. The other really nice thing was all of the friendly other guests - we met so many people that were having a great time, fun to talk to. Staff was all very friendly, helpful - in every way we felt welcomed and taken care of.

Very nice. Take the time to visit their beachfront property while there. They offer free shuttle rides or guests can drive and park in a gated lot with vehicle tag.

Everything was as expected and more! Very friendly staff. The hotel is not directly on the beach as I was expecting, but they have a shuttle bus that drops you off at the beach and drives back and forth to pick people up every so often. Really enjoyed the stay!!!

I was most impressed with the staff - from the front door to the back - everywhere, everyone aimed to please. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable, and the amenities of the highest caliber. Thank you Expedia!
“Nicest hotel I have ever stayed in...”
but be ready for a shock to your wallet. When we registered they asked if we wanted to self park our car or have it valet parked. We decided to self park the only problem with that the parking lot is not close at all and the weather was horrible. So we decided to use the valet service after that. We were naive to think this service might have been included in the $$$price of the room. Nope! Ok, maybe we will get a complimentary breakfast, nope! Alright, WiFi should be free, not even that. But all in all, it was a beautiful place.
“Best Family Vacation Ever !!!”
We want to thank the Sawgrass Marriott Resort for our family's best vacation ever. The resort was top notch all the way. Grounds & pools were immaculate. We were upgraded to a truly spectacular suite. Amenities were luxurious at best! Cabana Beach Club was fantastic....pool & beach were beyond our expectations. Shuttle was also a great perk. Tour of The Players PGA Club was not to be missed. Also spent a day at both Amelia Island & St. Augustine's...nice day trips but the best part was just relaxing @ the resort. Kids had a blast. Service was superb! Thanks again for an amazing 7 days!!!! We are sure to return next year!!!!
