Hotel closed when stay was booked - no one told u
Room was booked and the hotel was closed for renovation at the time it was booked. We were not advised and arrived at the closed hotel.

Flooded hotel
Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for my children. MY children stay there for 3 nights and on the 4th night (6 night reservation), I received a call from the hotel (because I was the one who paid and reserved) to let my kids know that they need to pick up their belongings because the hotel got flooded so everybody needs to evacuate and no one can sleep there that night and for the next 2 weeks. The hotel should have provided a place for their guest to move in but, it wasn't the case. Instead I was told to contact hotel.com about it since I booked through them. I rich out to hotel.com for help but was not able to speak with a real person. Since the timing wasn't right, my kids have to spend a night on a car till the next day. They were able to find a place to stay for their remaining days. So I'm calling the la quinta inn & suites manager that you should provide your guest a place to stay when they have to evacuate or in times of emergency. For hotel.com, your customer service is very terrible, no real person to help in times like this. Can you imagine all the trouble my kids had been through for sleep in a car?

The outside of hotel looked super nice. As soon as I got inside I discovered that the outside of the hotel was the only thing that was nice. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels across multiple states across the United States and this is by far the worst. There were “maintenance” workers in my room on 3 different occasions during my stay. Yes you read that right, maintenance workers. They felt the need to come in and fix my air conditioning WHILE im staying there without my permission and with all of my valuables in plain sight. The second time maintenance left some tool in my room and then came back later asking for it. The last time they told me they had to come in and steam my carpets WHILE IM STAYING THERE????? I kept declining their offer and they threatened to kick me out, which was crazy. I’ll never EVER EVER stay here again.

We stayed a total of 4 night's... the room key was deactivated everyday.. so i had to get a new key everyday... the elevator broke for a brief time... nothing offered for breakfast... and then they charged my cc twice for the same stay...

It was ok. Left sign on door to not be disturbed. When we came back to our room, we noticed someone had been in there. Nothing was missing, but we felt our privacy was invaded when asked not to. Clerk who checked us in seemed nice until she mentioned smoking.

This survey wouldn't initially add anything. This hotel was not clean anywhere outside of the room... Lobby, elevators, hallways, stairs, walls. Room Doors recently painted signs which made me wonder what condition they were in before painted.

No frills here, just the basics: Clean room, comfortable beds, attentive front-desk staff. Nothing great about the 'breakfast", juice machine not working, but coffee plentiful and hot.

I was disappointed with this property, room had bad smell, room dirty, “breakfast “? It was none, just coffee and juice. Also, no housekeeping, really?? I took my own garbage.

Stayed May 29-31, no Housekeeping service. Internet down Monday morning, bill was supposed to be sent by email but I have not received it yet. Upon check-in I was told about breakfast, I did not see any being served in the designated area in the two days that I was there. I have stayed numerous time at LaQuintas properties and never had an issue before but this time that was not the case. It seemed to me that they were not prepared for the Memorial Day weekend. Property not well kept and understaffed.

When I arrived for a weekend of swimming with my grandchildren, a sign on the counter stated the pool was closed for chemical balancing but should be open by Friday, May 7. Since it was nearly 5:00 pm on Friday, I inquired if the pool was open. I was told not yet, and no one could tell me that it would open for the weekend. I was also informed that there was no hot breakfast, as was shown and reviewed on website. I turned around and went elsewhere, as it would be pointless to stay, if we couldn't swim, as that was my Mother's Day treat for myself.

Barely a 2 star hotel
I am very unhappy about the fact that i stated in a SMOKING room for my first 2 nights when i reserved a non smoking room. Someone clearly smoked in the non-smoking room i was assigned , and when i called the front desk, i was told "sorry, people don't listen, they were charged a $250 cleaning fee. Do you want an air freshener ? We dont have any rooms available". I slept HORRIBLY, i couldn't breathe, i was up all night coughing. Why did I have to pay for those two BS nights?? Also, what kind of cleaning is really being done? Why charge the fee to "clean" the mess, but then i can still be so uncomfortable. I would not stay here again.

The property needs a serious update. The smell was horrible. Horrible enough that I couldn't eat in the room. They did clean but when you clean something that's old its no use.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Worst Hotel
Check in was at 4pm. Got there at 6:15pm and our room wasn’t ready. The lobby floors and hallways were dirty. The carpets inside the tools were stained. It was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at and will never stay at a La Quinta ever again.
