there is a walmart DIRECTLY across the street. the room was clean, no bugs, and no smell of anything funky whatso ever. I encountered 4 different staff members of different color, and all were very polite and friendly. breakfast was amazing: eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, oatmeal, cereal, scones...definately will be back again as it was for one night.

Pleasant surrounding & staff... I've stayed at this particular Hampton Regency hotel and I've has always a good experiece, but this time the room had no shower curtain and it took over one night & three hours to get one. That was only after I went looking for house keeping staff to get a shower curtain. I stayed in a handicapp room 202 on 2/21 till 2/26

Angel, in the morning, and Ryan in evenings, were extremely helpful. Both Gentlemen are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. No question was to big or to long, thanks for your help. Next time I come to Jax, I know where I will be staying. Thanks again, Angel and Ryan.

Not the best stay.
This was not our best stay here. The floor in the room was quite dirty. When taking a shower, black smudge would come off our feet. When the shower was turned off there was a very fast drip, drip, drip of hot water. The check-in evening and regular daytime staff were friendly and helpful. We had asked about to-go bag breakfasts as we had seen several made up on the counter one day. Multiple different staff said that they would be available in the morning. We were checking out at 3AM and told them that. Several different staff assured us that yes, even at that time, there is a staffed desk and we could get a to-go bag. At 3 AM on Monday 10/16/23 there was no one at the counter. We called out a couple of times before a lady from the breakfast kitchen prep area answered us. She would not come speak to us and had NO INTEREST in helping us at all. She said the other staff had lied to us and no bags were available. A friendlier person may have said, let me see what I can do. This event kind of ruined our view of the hotel. As mentioned, the other staff we talked to over the 4 days were all friendly and helpful. This AM kitchen person was neither friendly or helpful. If a manager sees this and would like to respond or call, my information is on file. Room 522, 10/12 - 10/16

Affordable option for our needs, but several of the lights in the room were out. There was something sticky on the floor around the AC unit and the room wasn’t the cleanest overall.
