Stayed for one evening as a stop over. Perfect for what we were looking for. Hotel was welcoming and nicely decorated.

Nice facility - Front desk needs training

Very impressed with the breakfast served in the morning. The woman who did all of the work to replenish the food and clean up was excellent and worked hard. Our check in was less pleasant. Checking in late with two small children we were given keys that did not work. After lugging our bags back to the front desk, we were given new keys. Returning to the same room, the key worked, only to find that there were already guests in that room (who knows why they didn't say anything the whole time we were trying to get in with the first set??). Lugging our stuff down to the desk again, we were given a new room. While mistakes are understandable, the lack of interest on the part of the employee was not excusable.

Close to Amelia Island & reasonable rates

Enjoyed hotel. Taylor at front desk had a problem when I told him I was paying cash of front & I didn't want him to charge my credit card. He relented & figured a way to navigate around your usual procedures . Not his fault ....he didn't know how to deal with cash.

Thanks for sharing. Normally we require a credit card to secure the room in the event of incidental charges. However, because we are in the service industry and want to provide exemplary service...bending the rules is acceptable and encouraged. I am glad that Taylor figured out a way to accomodate your needs.

Solid Airport Hotel

Was really only in the building a few hours - everything was as it should be. We had a very early morning, so it was appreciated that breakfast was out at 5am. Room was comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Convenient and comfortable

Location: River City Marketplace is nearby with lots of shopping and restaurants.
We were looking for something convenient to family with "something" nearby to do, and Fairfield Inn fit the bill perfectly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast

After a not-pleasing experience at another Florida hotel, I checked into this Fairfield expecting the predictable Marriott-brand dependability and was not disappointed. In fact, it was even better than expected, especially for the price: very clean room, good, friendly service, and a breakfast that started an hour earlier than I'd expected (y'all need to change the hours listed in the guest book!) that included fresh eggs, fruit, and decent coffee.
