“Good hotel, great location, lovely view”

Overall I would recommend the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, nice view and good location (walking distance to most Jacksonville attractions). Nice hotel pub and great steakhouse.

“Hotel yes - Restaurant no.”

Overall a good experience, walking distance to the l limited things Jax has to offer. Rooms were nice and clean, no problems or surprises there. Easy access to and from the highway. I would have rated the overall service higher but the restaurant seemed to care very little about service. My wife and others we noticed would wait at the counter to get a coffee forever it seemed while the lady behind the counter doesn't even awknowledge that you are there. It's not like it was busy at all just seemed to enjoy making you wait for here till she's good and ready to serve you. However, in contrary to the restaurant, the guest services and door men were very good and very helpfull! Just take a walk to the water and eat in one of the many restaurants close buy and you'll be fine. Best advice I can give you is to travel a few miles South to St.Augustine where there is more to see and do than you could in 2 days. We kicked ourselves for not staying in one of there historic bed and breakfasts, beautiful place to visit, tons of history, restaurants, pubs and shops.
