What an amazing hotel! Our club hotel room was beautiful and very spacious, with hand written welcome notes and complimentary welcome snacks. As a club member you also get access to free daily food and drinks in the club lounge. The hotel was a beautiful spa with both free and for-pay services. Access to the sauna and steam room are complimentary for all hotel guests. Last but not least our favorite part of the hotel was Perin the hotel navigator/concierge. She helped us with everything from ferry schedules to restaurant recommendations and even made me a reservation at a nearby doctors office after I couldn’t get rid of a bad cough. She went above and beyond, amazing hotel!

Great hotel. Comfortable room and beading which is very important after a long walking around izmir city. Excellent location near the city center and Tram. I recommend using the tram in izmir. It can take you to all the city and very clean and air conditioned.

Second time staying there a great hotel convenient location but just a little disappointed as they don't have very good perks was hoping they would give us free breakfast as we explained that it was our anniversary an Birthday that we have come to celebrate in Izmir but they refused I think I will try something new next time.x

Overall we had a very positive experience and loved our stay at Renaissance hotel. The hotel was located at a nice neighborhood and in walking distance with lots of restaurants, bazaar, etc. Staff was friendly and helped us whenever we needed. We had booked multiple rooms and everyone seems to share the same positive experience. Areas for improvement were 1) There was a really bad smell (sewage smell) near our rooms almost every time we opened the door. The hotel really needs to fix that as it was very off-putting. 2) The cleaning crew did not operate on a fixed schedule and our rooms were sometime not cleaned until much later in the afternoon and after we told them we needed a clean room.

The Renaissance Hotel Izmir is consistently very good. I did notice that the presentation is slightly less formal than on previous visits and a few things in the hotel are ready for replacement, but this didn't detract from the high quality of general service. The properly trained staff, room size and facilities (bathroom is by far the best in Izmir) and the location make a stay here stress free. One can concentrate on the reason for the Izmir visit and not have concerns about the accommodation. Highly recommended Hotel
