“too loud this year”
This was our 4th visit to the Park Royal. Every January they welcome a beach volleyball tournament. The first time it was interesting. This year they were out of control. They had 200 people and they took over the lobeybar every night and were so loud that the evening music couln"T BE HEARD. They were rude and incinsiderate. If they are there when we plan to go next year, we will go somewhere else.
“Unable to go back”
What a wonderful place...but my family could never go back. The royal holiday personnel were like leeches, and ruined the entire experience there. Why would they force their aggressive actions on guests of the hotel. It ruined the entire week.
“Flawless Vacation”
The Park Royal Ixtapa pleasantly surprised all of us as it was a 3.5 star resort and an all-inclusive. Usually resorts like that are adequate with so-so food. The food at the Park Royal was absolutely wonderful and the service was exceptional. Kudos to the management and staff. Every room has an ocean view and for service and value, the Park Royal was exceptional.
“We love this place!”
The service at the Park Royale is great. The quality of the drinks at the bars is first class. The rooms are cleaned very well and quickly. They have coffee available by 6:00. The food could have more seafood, but is excellent. There is always a wide variety to choose from.
“Don't overlook this Hotel”
This hotel has beautiful kept grounds and the staff could not do enough for us. Located right on the beach with a beautiful pool was a plus. The food was excellent and such a variety. Every room has an ocean view which was so enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Would definately recommend.
“Would Stay Again”
Would stay again. Room was great, upper floor, great view of the beach. Lunch restaurant excellent sea food choices. Buffet for breakfast and dinner has good quality but can lack in variety. I stay at the Park Royal for the beach, the ocean and the friendly staff and the chance to meet other guests to socialize with.
“Had a blast”
We were very happy w/our room's view..it was on floor 11, it was in the side parallel to the ocean and was great! The room itself has no in safe or mini bar so you must use the saftey deposit boxes by the front desk (free). The beer was corona and negra modelo. If you've been to all inclusive before you know not to expect to much out of the buffet, average. the italian reservation only restrnt was good. I reccomend changing a good portion of your spending $ to pesos. We paid 320 pesos for a car to the hotel, no taxis availble from airport to hotels, and don't let timeshare guys try and talk you into using their trasportation. Just tell them no thanks(unless you want to)and be persistant. The timeshare people at the hotel,Royal Holiday, are at the base of the elevator and will ask you as soon as you get there about free this and that, just say no thanks and be persistant and they will leave you alone. the key is to not take the airport guys offer i think. If you really want to avoid em, just get off the elevator on floor 10(1) and take the stairs. The woman at the consier desk was GREAT, she will help you w/any questions! Internet access isn't available in room but for $6 u.s. you can get a wireless connection in the lobby for your entire stay!!
“Can't wait to go back!”
Great hotel, Great food, everybody very helpful and friendly, this was our first official vacation and our first all inclusive, we did not know what to expect, so we took extra money not knowing the food was going to be soo good and so much of a variety! It was very nice to relax and get away from the everyday routine, we look forward to going back next year!
“Great Hotel In Ixtapa”
Great Hotel!! We had a wonderful stay and the "STAFF" was wonderful and they took care of all our request. I would stay again. The quality of the food was okay. Many of the same things over and over. We went into Z for a couple of meals and both were great. Take the Sunset Cruise well worth the trip.
“Met our expectations”
Did not understand you had to have long pants to eat in the Italian restaurant.
