“Enchanting and lots of perks!!!”
La Tourelle is a beautiful old world place. The rooms have hard wood floors and the beds are luxurious. I had the Avignon room with a view of the valleyas a abckdrop for the gazebos and ponds on the property . Iwas lulled to slep by peepers and bullfrogs. Peaceful, CLEAN accomodations. Located right next to the state park. The breakfast was a wonderful value: fresh danish, omelette with local goat cheese, fresh juice, coffee and a fruit cup for $18!! There was a wine tasting from 5-10 with complimentary local wines! The staff was wonderful and helpful. Best hotel stay in a long while. Highly recommend!
“The most georgous and relaxing hotel my wife and I have ever been to”
The most gorgeous and relaxing hotel my wife and I have ever been to. Our romantic get-a-way was outstanding thanks to the La Tourelle Resort & Spa. The grounds were quiet and relaxing. The room was romantic, elegant but most of all extremely comfortable. The people were kind and courteous. After saying all that I DO NOT recommend this hotel to others (because I would like to keep it my wife and myself little secret)
“Comfortable elegance”
This was my second visit to La Tourelle. The staff were always available and willing to help. The rooms felt clean and luxurious. Everything worked as it should. Our room overlooked the back grounds, which back up into state park lands. There had just been a significant snowfall and it was beautiful. The city of Ithaca is just a short drive away with a good diversity of interesting restaurants and activities. This is a great place to get away to and relax!
“Little bit of luxury...”
La Tourelle Resort and Spa was essentially one stop shopping in a rather remote area as far as hotel accommodations go. Everything you need is here at the resort, no need to go any further other than your intended destination. We were visiting Ithaca College and this hotel was just down the road about 1/2 mile or so. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was at the resort as well as a pool, spa services, computer access, etc. History of the resort was also very interesting as the owner is also the same family that started the Divi Resorts in Aruba, so I was hooked! Lovely to learn the history of the business Did not have time to take advantage of the hikes or walking paths offered on the property, but it's there if wanted. Bed was luxuriously comfortable, appreciated the warming light in the bathroom and room was extremely large and spacious (king bed room). Will definitely go back.
“great place to stay in Ithaca NY”
We loved La Tourelle...the rooms were beautiful...the service was excellent....they have a spa on site which offers a variety of services...2 restaurants...we came up here for a reunion weekend and were so impressed!!!! We hiked through the Buttermilk Falls which are right there.....what a great time we had!!!

It is a wonderful family run first class hotel....with an excellent steak house on the premises!
“A pleasant stay.”
Everything was great, but the turn down service did not replace used towels and the floormatin the bathroom. Hotel staff was attentive and helpful.
“Comfortable”
Very nice room and hotel. Clean and comfortable. Neither spectacular nor awful. Certainly above average and a recommended place to stay if you're in the area.

Hotel was clean and attractive. In hotel dining was a little disappointing because of slow service and cold food.
“Lovely room, but too hot”
My one complaint about La Tourelle was the inability to regulate the temperature in the room. Our room was incredibly hot and it was difficult to sleep, although the mattress and pillows were fabulously comfortable. There was a note on the heating element that asked guests not to turn on the AC but instead to press a "standby" button. Both my son and I had a very hard time sleeping because of the temperature of the room. Other than that, everyone was very helpful and the hotel was lovely.
