Will never stay there again.

We booked a room for 2 people, When we arrived, was told to add 25 Euro because of 2 people. My reservation says for 2 people. They insisted it is a single bed room. Refused to get a roller bed or make one bed into 2 beds. My friend and I had to sleep on the same bed on the first night. We had to pay 125 Euro more for 5 nights. It is very unfair and disturbing. Plus, there is no lobby, staff talked loudly at night. I don't recommend this hotel.

I booked a deluxe double room. It was smaller than pictured and far less luxurious. The amenities listed were not all provided. There are no in room safes. There was no functional roof top terrace, it was a mess and unusable. The heating/cooling was difficult to control. The view from the balcony was awful. The mattress was the worst. It was uncomfortable and I asked to changed rooms but was denied. Had I not paid in full, I would have gone to another hotel. To top it off, I arranged with the hotel to be picked up at the airport upon arrival. However, no one came to get me and I had to arrange my own transportation. I spoke to the staff about this and it was blown off. Most of the staff were nice, but some were completely unhelpful. The best part was the restaurant downstairs. The staff were great there and welcoming and most of the food delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect. This hotel is rated as 4 stars. It should be more of a 2 1/2-3 star.

Generally a good hotel with the price we booked

The location of the hotel is perfect and the price we booked were quite cheap. Generally very worth the price. The hotel looks quite good but very very small, and some necessary facilities were not there, like the iron, and there is no rubbish bin in bathroom. Moreover, we did not really stay in the hotel. We were asked to stay in the opposite hotel. So the room look nothing like the picture. The breakfast is okay, much better than many places. Generally a clean good hotel in a log location, but with small room.

Location: The 4 major attractions (Topkapi, Aya Sofia, Basillica Cistern, Blue Mosque) are all within 5-10 minutes of walking distance.
Villa Pasha is located in the heart of the tourist spot in Istanbul. The 4 major attractions (Topkapi, Aya Sofia, Basillica Cistern, Blue Mosque) are all within 5-10 minutes of walking distance and can be covered in one day from this location. The street that this hotel is located at has all kinds of restaurants, including some hookah bars. The hotel is in the 2nd floor (no elevators). The staff was very friendly and took care of all our needs. The room (Number 32) I stayed was big compared to European standards. Breakfast was ok, not enough choices compared to other places we stayed. To sum it up, the best bang for your price. I would definitely recommend it.

Good location but rude/dishonest staff

I stayed in Villa Pasha for only one night. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was ok with a nice view from the roof, and the location is great, very close to the touristic sights, and the area is full of nice restaurants and coffee shops. The receptionist however was very rude and tried to steal my money repeatedly: 1- Their credit card machine was not working, so I paid cash. He tried to take money for himself by ridiculously increasing the exchange rate. Luckily I did not fall for that. 2- He tried to charge me 25 TL instead of 12 TL for the airport shuttle, he got really angry when I called the airport shuttle company and found out the real price and almost raised his hand on me. I payed directly to the airport shuttle. 3- He did not give me a receipt, even though he made me wait 20 minutes for it. I stayed in the room on the 1st floor, which was extremely noisy because it was right by the reception, I was not able to sleep well because of the noise.

Great but avoid the lowest floor

Reserved three nights and extended to a fourth. 10min walk to the most famous sights in Istanbul. Staff very friendly and accomodating. The rooms on the lowest floor though (the 2X's) are an arm's reach away from the reception desk so it's a bit noisy, and the view from the back rooms on the lowest floor is so bad they really shouldn't have bothered putting windows in. I moved to the next floor up and was very happy.

Good Location

Really nice and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was very good and our upgraded room large and bright. The restaurant next door (Mesopotania) was excellent and less expensive than the hotel's restaurant. Wonderful spot to sit over a carafe of wine and people-watch.
