“Friendly and Helpful”
Very Comfortable and within easy reach of everything. Friendly helpful staff
“Loved it”
We stayed for our honeymoon and the location of the hotel is great because it is one block away of the main street Divan Yolu were is the tram and stores and restaurants, and walking distance to the haya sophia, blue mosque and topkapi palace The hotel is clean and the breakfast which is included is amazing and it is served at the rooftop restaurant, also you have free coffee and tea available all day at the rooftop. It is a mosque right infront of the hotel, and everyday at 5am around all the sultanhnamet area are prayers, so they turn on the speakers of all the mosques of the area and sing their prayers and you feel like it is right outside your window. But this is a culture thing, so it is no a negative thing of the hotel, just a fact you really need to know before going because if you don't you will freak out if you are sleeping and start listening to it. It's a matter of culture and I really respect that, in any hotel you will stay at the sultanhnamet area you will live that experience. Had a great time! and i really recommend this hotel, the staff is great very servicial, and staff of the hotel is also great and very friendly! I recommend 100% this hotel, and also to request the pickup service from the airport. Thank you Tan hotel!
“Tan hotel”
Had a wonderful stay. Staff lovely and helpful and the hotel is situated so centrally for the sights but not noisy. Very clean and lovely omelettes for breakfast!
“Initial hiccup, but all came right in the end!”
On arrival, the hotel had double booked our room. They therefore advised that they would upgrade us to a suite for 2 nights. However, as we had booked some months ago, we were not very happy about this as we did not want the hassle of moving rooms part way through our stay and thought it was unreasonable that we should be inconvenienced. We were not angling for an upgrade for the whole week, and would have been happy with a standard room but just wanted the same room for the whole week. After some discussion they did agree to let us stay in the suite for the whole week of our stay. Aside from this, we found the hotel excellent. The staff were very helpful, the location was excellent being close to all of Sultanahmets main attractions and really handy for the tram. There were some nice restaurants conveniently located for eating out at night. Breakfast was very good and it was nice to eat looking over towards the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia. The room was nice and clean - probably the only criticism was that it was a bit dark and needed a light over the bedroom mirror, but this may not have been such a problem with rooms on higher floors which may have got more natural light. Beware of the gin and tonics served in the terrace bar - i think we had about half a bottle of gin in each of ours!!!
“Tan Otel a place to be!!!”
We had a fantastic time in Istanbul! The hotel was great with a really good location, friendly & helpful staff and nice breakfast! We will recommend it to anyone.
“Could not have wished for better service.”
Our 4 day stay at the Tan Hotel was perfect in all respects. The ambience of the hotel was complemented by exceptionally friendly and thoughtful staff who always went the extra distance to answer our questions were answered, whether sitting on the terrace having an early evening drink or checking details at the reception desk. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts here were by far the best we have enjoyed in a European city and together with our smart and comfortable rooms we would not be tempted to try any other hotel when we visit again.
“Hotel Tan Istambul”
A recommander!!!
“Excellent value”
Their Internet connection could be stronger, but otherwise it was an excellent stay. The rooftop view was fabulous.
“Really good stay- would definately recommend”
Can`t really fault this little but superbly located hotel. Quiet, with helpful young staff, and a lovely roof bar for breafast. overlooking the blue mosque etc for the price it would be difficult to beat.
“Bon rapport qualité/prix”
Hôtel très bien situé, personnel aimable, chambre confortable (nous avons même été upgradés dans une suite pour 2 nuits sur 3). Belle vue d'une terrasse panoramique pour le petit dejeuner compris dans le prix et copieux. Trés propre et calme.
