Amazing hotel. One of the best I have every stayedPosted 20-Jan-2014
Pros: Modern with authentic touch up. Fine art displayed through out the hotel makes it very unique. Elevator has the best view on east tower.
We had great time in Istanbul. Its a magical city with lots of character. SwissHotel is at an amazing location. You do not get this type of view. We had a free upgrade to the top floor, with a great Bosphorus Bridge view. Very close to Dolmabahce Palace and many other great sightseeing spots. Hotel staff was extremely kind and attentive. Very clean, updated rooms. Every small detail was in place. Although the name is "Swiss" it has very authentic features that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Very unique experience. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel and service!Posted 1-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
Swissotel is truly a gem of a hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms very clean, house cleaning very fast and always on a convenient time, and the Internet very fast. The location of this hotel is very central and close to the most chic shopping street in Istanbul. I highly recommend this hotel to business and leisure travelers alike. Lastly the lobby staff memorizes your name!

Great viewsPosted 30-Dec-2013
Pros: Views and grounds
Cons: Room service food and laundry prices
A great hotel, slightly out of the hustle and bustle of central Istanbul but fantastic views across the Bosphorous. Rooms a great, good size, very clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent, right from arriving, concierge etc through to those cleaning rooms. We needed a doctor for our youngest during our stay and the hotel were brilliant, we had a doctor on site within 30mins and they also took care of arranging prescriptions. Very impressed. Only criticism around the hotel would be the room service, as the food wasnt of the standard for the rest of the hotel plus laundry - you might as well buy new clothes for what they charge!

Nice and worm stayPosted 11-Dec-2013
Overall nice and comfortable hotel, relatively old building. Perfect location and views. Not the most professional staff though. Valet parking for fee, 20 TL per day, which I think a bit to much. This is probably one of the cheapest 5 star hotels in that area. The nearest 5 star hotels are the four seasons, kempinski, and shangri la which are way more expensive than Swissotel. I think it is a nice option for the price.
