Pros: The view overlooking Bhosporous
Cons: Staff attitude.
Room overlooking Bhosporous was great. Bathroom needs makeover - old. Unimpressed with staff - on arrival at Hotel, no one came forward to help with luggage. Nespresso coffee machine in room but had to pay for capsules - Aust Dols 6.00 per capsule. A capsule cost 80 cents. Outrageous. Would not stay at the Hotel again.

Pros: location
Cons: smooking section rooms
Location: excellent location
the reception was unhappy for my booking by expedia and he insist to give me garden vieu room and i told him according to expedia the room is see vieu mentiond as promotion in my booking. smooking rooms is very bad the entrance to the long way out to reach the room is very bad smell.

very old... noisy renovations all day !

Cons: Laundry services very poor quality...
Noisy Building, Poor Gym, Pool is closed for renovation, Poor quality Laundry and very very old mattress and bathroom!!! Average Services, good breakfast, ok staff quality but poor english. Nice location.

Deteriorating property and service

I'm a frequent guest of this hotel. Lately they have started renovation of one wing, laid out their highly qualified staff and now the service and experience is not matching good old days. I've experienced long waits for everything and facilities are extremely aged and unpleasant.

amazing hotel! rooms could be more nicely designed

Pros: amazing top class hotel. the view from the cafe balcony and the entire experience are a bliss. staff is amazing. food and SPA are perfection
Cons: room could be more nicely designed. the fact that breakfast is not included in expedia deals should be stressed more clearly !!
Location: location is a bit problematic in terms of accessibility, you have to take cabs to get to the centre. but cabs are not too expensive.

Fantastic luxury hotel in prime Istanbul location

Pros: Great spa facilities, very good restaurants, helpful and efficient staff and concierge services, excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Everything about the hotel is great. One very minor point - there were very few English TV channels available. Also, the movies system did not work.
Location: Dolmebache Palace is right nearby. Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi etc) are a short taxi ride away. Good shopping centres nearby too.
We spent 5 nights at the Swissotel Bosphorus. We were keen to explore the 'modern' side of Istanbul on this trip, whilst not being too far from the key historic districts (e.g. Sultanahmet etc). All aspects of the hotel and its staff were excellent, including location, concierge services and amenities.

The worst hotel ever.

I was absolutely shocked by their horrible and extremely poor standard of customer service. The staff are so horrible and impolite and some of them beg you for tips. my worst experience was when I was slightly late by 5mins for our tour bus, which was waiting for us outside the hotel. The conceriage guy started shouting at me and was abusive towards me for being late despite me apologising for being late. He was so unprofessional and rude. I raised this incident with the duty manager, who appeared to be defending his unacceptable behaviour. The hotel also included lots of items on my bill that I didn't buy including phone calls that I've never made. They only removed these after I challenged them. My holiday was certainly runied by this hotel. I strongly advice anyone who is thinking to book this hotel no to do so. There are by far better hotels nearby that have better standards.

Old.Horrible matress.Unfriendly staff. Great view!

Not worth the price. 4 stars at best Mattess very old and bulged. Old bathrooms. Rooms smell bad. View is nice but only from common area. Hotel staff too slow and not responsive. Concierge never picks up the phone you have to go meet him in person to get things done...

Not so close from shops.

The hotel is a bit far (walking) from the shops. Also we didn't get the room we asked for. We were told that our room has been upgraded but the view was terrible (looking to the roof of the floor below us) and there wasn't a separate living room as we ordered.
