“Hôtel à recommander”
Hôtel dont nous avons occupé deux chambres avec un couple d'amis et nous sommes tous satisfaits : très bonne localisation, accueil efficace et agréable, chambres confortables.
“Very good location, friendly staff”
The Erguvan Hotel is in a very handy location, just down the hill in the Sultanahmet district. The Blue Mosque, Sophie's, Topkapi, etc is all very close walking. The staff was very friendly and spoke adequate English.
“Very good hotel”
This is a fairly small nice hotel in a very good location close to the Blue Mosque and within easy walking distance of Haghia Sophia, the palace, Bazaar etc. Nice roof bar with view over the Sea of Marmara and of the Blue Mosque. I hope to visit it again.
“lovely hotel”
The hotel was very clean and comfortable with great staff who gave good tips and information whenever you needed it. Excellent location just around the corner from the Blue Mosque and great rooftop views at a yummy breakfast. Fabulous shower! Would definitly recommended for a city break.
“Very Impressed”
When I go back to Istanbul I will stay at the same hotel because of its location, is like having the Blue Mosque in your patio and Haggia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome,the cisterns at your front street neighbors. The hotel employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. My cousin (who is very picky) was visiting Turkey in a tour for two weeks, and met me at the hotel, decided that when he goes back to Istanbul will stay there. The breakfast buffet options are diverse for all tastes. One morning we had to leave early for a tour and they arranged the breakfast earlier for us. The small neihgborhood restaurants, are very good. We are very pleased with the hotel. We were three lady friends. The neighborhood very safe, to walk even at night.
“Really good hotel”
The Hotel Erguvan was a gem. The location was perfect, very close to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace and a tram stop. It was immaculately clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, other meals basic but tasty and served on the roof terrace with a lovely view of the Blue Mosque. we would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. The best restaurant we found was a small establishment very close to the hotel. Turn right out of the hotel, take the first turning right, then first left and it is next door to the lighting shop on the corner. Unfortunately we can't remember its name but it is excellent, lovely propietor and very good value.
“Great hotel!!!”
Great location!! Very nice staff and very, very helpful!! BUT if you are looking for a great breakfast buffet too bad. Yes, a good bit of stuff but do you want to eat cake and olives of every kind at 8:00am...I think not. Having said that the location is great as is the service. More like 3 stars at best. But for the price and everything 3 stars is fine!! I would stay there again for sure!!

“Great hotel with view of Blue Mosque”
This is a great hotel, with a wonderful roof deck that overlooks the Blue Mosque. The staff was great, and the hotel is centrally located, while maintaining a distance from the touristy strip of hotels and restaurants.

HOTEL ERGUVAN IS THE ICING ON THE TASTY CAKE THAT IS OLD CITY ISTANBUL. IT IS ELEGANT AND STAFFED WITH KIND PEOPLE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND IN WALKING DISTANCE OF BLUE MOSQUE,OLD BAZAAR,TOPKAPI,ETC. THE BREAKFAST SPREAD THE BEST I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN 3 WEEKS IN TURKEY. IF YOU GO TO ISTANBUL, TRY TO STAY HERE..
