“Convenient, new hotel in Istanbul”

This is a great hotel if you are a tourist staying for a short period of time in Istanbul. The tram runs right at the doorstep of the hotel and easily connects you to all major sights. Internet connection was fast and available for the majority of my 3 night stay. Public computer terminals (3) are available with printers. Hotel is modern, comfortable and clean and included a good breakfast. Front desk staff (Kemal) was helpful and massage therapists in hotel spa provided top quality service. Suggest booking a private airport shuttle if you are arriving from SAW airport and driving to hotel during rush hour, as it took us 2 hours to arrive at hotel in rush hour traffic and a taxi would have cost a fortune. Also, take a hotel card if returning to hotel via taxi so you can show the hotel address to the driver. I would stay at this hotel again if returning to Istanbul. Good value for money.

“Stylish Hotel in a Great Location”

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a huge variety of hot foods, breads, cheeses, fruits, etc. The room was a little small but comfortable and updated with stylish décor. The location in the old city had many attractions within walking distance like the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. I wish I could have stayed more than the few days I was there.

“Istanbul's Best Hotel”

The hotel is conveniently located near the historical areas in old town Istanbul. The metro system in front of the hotel makes it easier to access several historical sites such as Topkapi Palace, St. Sofia, Sultanahmet mosque, Egyptian Market, Grand Bazaar, Golden Horn and Istanbuls' new town such as Nisantasi, bebek etc. for shopping and restaurants. I have stayed in many hotels in Istanbul for many years. I was very satisfied with this hotel given the price, room comfort, location and food quality. You must try it...

“Perfect”

Our experience was great from the start. We were greeted by friendly staff and warm cookies. The location was ideal. A 15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar or a 5 min tram ride. Also only a few blocks away, were the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Basilica Cistern. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant--the gourmet chef did his thing. We definitely recommend it!!

“Will be Staying at the Doubletree again!”

I chose the Doubletree for my visit to Istanbul, and it did not disapoint! From the time we checked in, until the time we left, the service was great. The staff was always friendly and welcomed us everytime we left for the day and came back in the evening. We visited Istanbul for my birthday, and without anyone mentioning this to the Hotel, they delivered a small birthday cake to our room for me. Its these small things that make the Hilton family Hotels the best in the world. I will be staying at the Doubletree on my next trip to Istanbul!

“My first hotel in Istanbul”

This is my first visit to Istanbul. Me and my wife enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would stay again at this hotel if I come to Istanbul. The location, services, and room quality are all what I expected from Doubletree. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

“Great value in Estanbul”

Hotel is well located to provide access to all must see sites of Istanbul. Gteat breakfast encluded. Easy access to the modern tram. The beds were very good but the room was small as in almost all other European cities. Personnel was polite and well trained.
