“Great hotel, beautiful, well-located”

The room in the Empire Palace was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel is well-located, only a short walk to the tram stop and to Topkapi Palace. The food in the restaurant was excellent; in fact it was exceptionally good for a hotel dining room and had a nice view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed and I will definitely stay there again when I return to Istanbul. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a charming, comfortable room with a great location.

“Very pleasant stay”

We were victims of the Heathrow terminal 5 fiasco, so it stood out how helpful the staff at Empire Palace were, given that we arrived at the hotel without luggage. They were also very helpful with touring suggestions, restaurant recommendations and general advice during our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and my partner and I enjoyed using the Turkish sauna one afternoon. Very good breakfasts.

“Great location and value”

Located on the main tram line in Old Istanbul, less than 10 minutes from Eminonu harbour and Sirkici train station, this hotel is safe, well-managed, and extremely comfortable. Staff were very obliging and we would stay there again without hesitance.

“Great Hotel!”

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was easy to reach from the airport using the Metro cost 2.60 ytl or 2.00 cdn and the Sirkeci stop was just around the corner from the hotel. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. All rooms in Istanbul are small but this one was comfortable enough for 3 adults. Breakfast at the rooftop resturant was a nice buffet to start the day with a view of the Bosphorus, Topkapi Place and Hagia Sophia. All the main attractions were within walking distance. The hotel is on a main street full of shops and resturants. The lobby bar is comfortable and popular because of the free wireless access available. You will not be disappointed if you stay at this hotel.

“Un excellent hotel à Istanbul”

Je me suis rendu fin octobre 2007 à Istanbul et j'ai profité de prix attractifs au Best western. L'hotel est très bien situé, très près des principaux centres toutistiques. L'hotel est totalement rénové, les chambres sont très joliment meublées meme si elles sont un peu petites. Comme critique,(il en faut tout de meme) les chambres sont un peu bruyantes car le tram passe dans rue de l'hotel. Le petit déjeuner pourrait etre amélioré en qualité.

The best thing about this hotel was the location, perfectly placed to walk to all the sightseeing spots. The staff were very nice also and I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Extremely good value for money.
