NO- FRILLS, BUT GOOD
Took 5 minutes (I timed it) to get hot water to the bathroom sink. The bathtub water was hot almost instantly! Not sure when they will be finished with construction at this property. It’s been ongoing for years! We’ve been staying here twice a year on business trips for about 10 years or so. Easy access to all amenities and freeway. This is a no-frills hotel, but works fine for us.

The beds were very comfortable. We checked in late, about 10:30 pm and left before 8 am so we did not use many of the ammenities. The carpet in the hallway was loose and wrinkled and the bathroom had the counter too close to the toilet. Just a couple of things I noticed. But overall the price was in range and we would stay there again.

Vacation in my home town
It was nice to stay in your home town and just relax, service was great (especially Peter in the bar). So convenient to stores, restaurant's and the freeway. We will be back very soon.

Pleasantly surprised.
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nicer than the photos. Looks like the hotel is going through some improvements. Room was very spacious, nice clean, maybe new, carpet. Bathroom was spacious. Staff were really friendly and helpful and I so appreciated that they have room service. Food was good as well.

Great location. Nice property and staff. The heater in our room was not functioning right and they were happy to move us to a different room immediately and in a friendly and helpful manor.

We have stayed in really nice hotels and there has been scratches where carts etc. has scratched the furniture and the walls and the doors. This hotel had absolutely no scratches in our room. That tells me this hotel really takes pride in the upkeep of it. We were in contact with 4 different employees and they went out of their way to help us. We will be staying here again soon.

The hotel was very nice; clean; safe; quiet and friendly. My only issue was the noise my room heater made when it turned off and the cleanliness of the trashcan by the coffee bar in the lobby. Plus it might have been nicer if breakfast was included in the price. It was very convenient in Issaquah.

Holiday Inn Express has a complimentary continental breakfast, but Holiday Inns are full service cook your breakfast to order. We do have packages which include breakfast in your rate.

Nothing unique. Dont be fooled and pay for a King suite, it is no bigger than a standard room. Rooms were not big at all, bathrooms were tiny and not fluffy friendly. No refrigerators or Microwaves that tend to be standard in a suite. I had to askor a fridge, when we got it, it still did not work. Paying for breakfast was lame. You have to actually go sit order. Pool n spa is outside and were closed. Major hotel renavations were going on. Honestly believe the property used to be a buisness with mutiple offices that were converted into rooms.

No renovations, but did have a burst pipe flood the hotel during this time. Our pool is seasonal, as it is outdoors.

Made the reservation for a “pet friendly” hotel, it wasn’t. The reception desk clerk was anything but cordial and no help in finding an actual “pet friendly” hotel in the area which I truly find hard to believe. I would be reluctant to suggest this Holiday Inn to anyone.

I'm sorry that you didn't see that we don't allow pets at our hotel. After a quick google search I found that you can stay at the Motel 6 or the Homewood Suites

Not sure if was under construction but had no access to ice or vending machine. I asked if they had any juice and was advised to go to the bar where I was charged $8.00 for a cup of cranberry juice. I also asked for a late check out and was given that by the front desk until 12:30 with no charge but I guess that information was never communicated to housekeeping. At 10:00 am I received knocks at door that woke me, it was housekeeping asking if I was checking out. Then at checkout the front desk guy stated that I didn’t need the late checkout request. I refrained from commenting and headed home. I have stayed at many other Holiday Inn locations but this was by far my worst experience!!!

My room could definitely use an upgrade. The picture on the wall is torn, an outlet beside the bed is destroyed and the front panel of the heating/air conditioning unit is broken. However, the fitness room is great!

It's a cozy, comfy hotel and I stay there all the time. AND I MEAN ALL THE TIME...... Everyone is kind and helpful. Sometimes 5 star hotels are way overrated. I'd rather be cozy and comfy in a quiet place to escape. This works for me!
