“Wonderful room”

The hotel was very inviting. Everyone was very nice. The room was very relaxing and the beds were...wow. Memory foam pillows, lots of them. Love having free wifi.

“just right”

Great hotel and location to wedding we attended 5 minutes away. Everything was just right, clean, and staff was friendly. The only thing that could have been better was a cheaper breakfast option. Friendly Jeff, the bartender who stayed open late for guests, made up for that drawback though. Will definitely stay there if I ever find myself in Issaquah again.

“Better than we expected”

“Beautiful Location”

We spent a lovely 2 nights there and were completely comfortable (almost). The bed was a little firmer than I would have liked but could put up with it for 2 nights. Breakfasts were very good.

Area recommendations

The hotel is just about half a mile from Gilman Village, a quaint collection of old houses made into shops and is worth seeing. Restaurants there also.

When to go

Anytime of the year. Umbrella a must in Seattle and surrounding areas. Not far from the Cascade Range, where skiing lasts till late Spring. Also close to Sammammish State park and beach, great in summer. Getting there is easy. Go straight east on I- 90 from Seattle.

“Not at all impressed”

I changed my reservation with the front desk staff to the following day and asked for a confirmation email, after not receiving it, I called back to ask for it again and the girl on the phone was snippy with me-I never got one. When we got to the hotel, they gave us a room that was very far from the elevator only to find out that they didn't program the keys right so the door wouldn't open. Back downstairs to get new keys-the room had been still occupied. The new room was incredibly loud and surrounded with children who slammed the doors over and over. The front desk had promised it was quieter than the first room as a reward for moving-big lie! The comforter on the bed was so lumpy it can only be described as looking like a duvet filled with cats. The TV was miserable-half the channels were static, no guide channel and paper room guide only listed 6 stations, of which half didn't come in. No movies on demand, and only 1 HBO that only played re-runs of HBO shows. The lobby was so filled with the stench of chlorine from the pool that it stung my eyes which made eating in the restaurant, or getting a drink at the bar out of the question--unless you want to wear goggles and a nose plug and have everything taste of chlorine. The staff was rude and I think still in high school by the looks of them. It was not worth the money at all, and I would never stay there, or at any Holiday Inn after my bad experience there. I literally can't think of a nice thing to say about my stay.

We came up to Washington to visit Snoqualmie Falls--they were amazing! We had a great authentic Mexican dinner at La Vendita right down the road from the Holiday Inn. Really inexpensive and casual, but the real deal and delicious!

“best hotel in issaquah, also east of seattle!!!”

this has been probably my 6th. time staying at the hotel. most important is a great bed. this one is wonderful, comfortable. i will always go back to this hotel. staff very nice too.

“Up-to-standard hotel in neiborhood area”

It's a very new hotel, located in neiborhood area. Quite surprise to have such a new hotel in town and would like to stay there again for next visit.

“Great hotel and staff but couldn't take shower”

The hotel was great but when I woke up and went to take a shower I found the shower handle did not work properly . When I mentioned this to the front desk during check out the guest relations manager Donny told me to email him and he would comp me to a free night's state. I emailed him as he seemed genuinely interested in my concern and comfort. Unfortunately I have not heard back from him. Ask for any room other than 143 - which had the broker shower handle
