“Gorgeous and friendly.”

My young daughter and I stayed at Le Grand Hotel for two nights and it was wonderful. Every single member of the staff was so welcoming. Everyone had warm, lovely smiles on their faces and treated us so well. We arrived in a pretty ragged state after a week in hospital instead of a week skiing and the atmosphere and friendliness was just what we needed. The hotel and room were beautiful and the room service food was delicious.

“Le meilleur hôtel de Grenoble à un prix très doux”

Je fréquente bien des hôtels et je ne me souviens pas d'une expérience aussi délicieuse : agrément de la chambre, qualité du service, buffet gourmet. Certes l'hôtel (le seul de cette classe en plein centre ville) vient d'être totalement rénové, tout y est neuf. Les chambres sont magnifiques, déco zen, literie exceptionnelle, linge et peignoir doux et épais comme une fourrure, douche à l'italienne, éclairage multiple à plusieurs ambiances, écran THD plat interactif Samsung, triple vitrage... Tout a visiblement été pensé par quelqu'un qui a fréquenté les hôtels comme client : la place suffisante pour déposer ses affaires de toilette, les petits placards de rangement là où il faut, des prises électriques partout pour tout recharger, le double éclairage en tête de lit dont liseuse directionnelle, etc La délicatesse du personnel est-elle due au fait qu'il n'est pas français ? Russe, Indien, Portugais, Italien... tous bilingues, engagés, bien managés, apportant une touche cosmopolite à l'endroit. Décidément, en comparaison, l'empathie n'est vraiment pas le fort du serveur français. Et puis il y a Mr Legros, le propriétaire de l'hôtel (non, ce n'est pas une chaîne !), la soixantaine bien tassée, vert comme un charme, veillant sur tout, et prêt à toutes les "audaces" pour nous faire plaisir. Comme celle d'ouvrir pour nous le superbe bar déco après 23 h pour partager avec nous un moment complice ( 2 heures !) et de franche rigolade. Lieu rare, gens attachants, tarif de lancement !

“Ne comptez pas sur la direction en cas de probleme”

Nous avons passe un agreable sejour au Grand Hotel. Ma voiture a cependent ete abimee alors qu'elle se trouvait sous la responsabilite de l'hotel. Ces choses arrivent et bien que j'aurais evidemment apprecie un geste commercial de l'hotel pour participer aux frais de reparation, ou meme un simple mots d'excuse, J'attends toujours. J'y suis donc de ma poche, et attends toujours un mot d'excuse de la direction de l'hotel. Tout-a-fait inacceptable de la part d'un hotel qui se veut grand.
