“Cheap and Close to the Train station”

The hotel was half a block away from the train station and it was neat. For the most economic room, it was good. One surprise was with the shared toilet and bathroom for a floor of 4 rooms, I guess. The receptionists talked good English and helped out.

“Alize in August”

Small rooms, but clean and cool (even in August). Dark hallways and dark water closet facilities. Common showers were unclean, and common toilettes were extrememly small (knees against the door... sufficatey!). Staff was friendly and helpful, although slightly clueless. Decent location, well within walking distance to all major attractions in Grenoble. Cool neighborhood restaurants nearby. Would stay again for a single night (especially for the price!), but no longer.

“Questionable!”

The people didn't speak any English, the room had a shower block on the side of it (basically a concrete block with a shower curtain) and a WC at the end of th hallway. The WC on our floor was broken so we had to keep going up/downstairs to use it. We asked for an upgrade which they said they'd do, and never did. No staircase, loud, relatively dirty, room wasn't cleand daily either and the staff were not helpful with city information at all (except th young guy). If you had to stay here, get a room with WC and Shower. But I'd rather have spent a few € more for somewhere else. Very convenient to the train station though. Basically a 1 minute walk and the restaurant next door is FAB!

Personnel très accueillant mais confort de la chambre des plus succinct.

très mauvais rapport qualité prix , hôtel non conseillé !!! par rapport au prix de la chambre (40 euros) y'a un manque de propreté flagrant une douche et un WC commun très petits , mauvaise odeur... draps,couverture anciens... j'y suis arrivée à 21h après 5h de voiture j'avais pas la force ni le temps de chercher un autre hôtel sinn j'y serais pas restée ! les photos ne correspondent pas à l'état réel des chambres . et même s'il est à proximité du tram et près du centre ça n'empêche pas un minimum de conditions d'hébergement .
