“Modern, clean, convenient semi-apartment”
We choose a 1 bedroom apartment suite, which had a living room and a small (but fully functioning) kitchen. It was very convenient to a small supermarket across the street, which allowed us to pick up a few things to make our stay very enjoyable. The hotel has lots of small restaurants nearby, parking is available, and it is close to major autoroute access as well as a new streetcar line. Housekeeping is not on a daily basis however, except by arrangement. Wi Fi internet access is available for free in the lobby. A great find - I'd stay here again or at a similar hotel by the same chain.
“Great place to stay”
Very convenient right in the center of Grenoble. I like the apartment style. It felt like I was at home rather than in a hotel.
“Comfortable and more than adequate.”
May I say a pleasant surprise, both the hotel apartment and Grenoble itself. We were looking for somewhere between Paris and Venice and not a big Tourist Centre, but with tourist type facilities, we spent 4 nights and 3 lovely days wandering around, seeing the Bastille, the local museums, shopping @ the local markets and cooking the lovely food for ourselves. Lovely rest after the pace of Hong Kong, London, Budapest and Paris. Now the hotel, we had booked the studio room so knew about the folding couch, worked OK for me, my Husband, taller, heavier, said it was a little uncomfortable but he seemed to sleep alright. The bathroom was a very good size and came with soap, hairdryer etc. There was a small table and 2 chairs, more than adequate for two people. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, but probably could do with a few more things if you wanted to do something elaborate, I managed to cook basic things most nights with no trouble though. We had enough space in the living room/bedroom for the 4 nights even though we left the bed folded out. We had a small balcony with a view of a mountain, which was lovely for those of us from flat old Adelaide. The internet was ADSL wired and free (wire supplied). Although not luxurious the apartment was clean, adequate @ a great price (through expedia) and in all we enjoyed our time in it and Grenoble immensely. Recommend the Bastille on a good day (which we had) you can see Mont Blanc (which we did).
“Impressed”
Good central location, nothing was far away. Great views.
“Great place to stay. Close to tram, markets and restruants. Very friendly and helpful staff.”
Very nice and reasonable priced for a week long vacation in area. We used a larger unit which was a queen bedroom and in the living room was a long trindle bed. Small kitchen that was good to store snacks and breakfast items. So many good places to eat. Tram 2 block away to everywhere in town. What a lovely area to visit! People so nice and friendly.
“très agréablement supris”
très bien situé à Grenoble, confortable et au calme. A recommander pour être au plus proche des pistes
“Great to live in an apt. not an hotel”
Ask for a room at the back so you have a great view of the mountains. Close to little shops and food markets right across the street. Eat outside of the hotel. Within walking distance to old town and 3 blocks from the tram. Don't expect hotel cleaning service daily, which we enjoy the privacy. They change towels and bedding every 3 or 4 days depending on your stay. We have stayed here repeately. Great staff on the desk multi-lingual & friendly.
“A good place to stay in Grenoble”
This is a good place to stay. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. The location is convenient; two blocks from a tram (that goes directly to the train station) and a few minutes walk to the center of town. There's a grocery store across the street. My only complaint is that reception has limited hours, particularly on weekends (08:00 - 12:00 then 16:00 - 20:00). This can be a pain depending on when you're catching a train or a flight.
“good location / good facilities / good price”
The rooms have an adequate kitchen, and there are grocery stores very close, so you can get eat in if you want to. One quirk ... the rooms are small, so the bed folds up into a sofa. Breakfast was not special ... go out to one of the local cafes.
