“Got flea bites”

Ended up with >20 flea bites on face and neck from pillow on sofa bed. Assume previous guest had dog. Since sofa bed not always used, fleas were very hungry when I got there and I got pelted. Hotel should put pillows in dryer between guests, particularly if a dog was in room. Hotel was overpriced for what we got. Room needed maintenance: broken lamp on desk, loose security bar in shower, hanging handle on refrigerator. Floor dusty. Kitchen dirty with sticky floor, cupboard handles, and stove hood. Even when asked to have it cleaned again, it was not clean. Had to wipe down again ourselves. If it had not been for these cleanliness and maintenance issues, the hotel would have been fine. Room was otherwise adequate and location was good.

Area recommendations

Neighborhood of hotel was fine. It was an easy walk to all city areas with tram close by.

“Nice standard experience”

I travel to Grenoble very often for business and Citadines is my best choice although it's not perfect. I like the kitchenette and that the room is larger than a standard hotel but the big plus is the central location. It gives me the opportunity to enjoy the city in the afternoons. It could use a lick of paint and a bit of maintenance done to it but it's clean and i am not very fussy.

Dining

-try the La Villlage, a small restaurant just opposite to the hotel, needs booking and has fantastic affordable true French cooking.

“Great place to stay”

Very convenient right in the center of Grenoble. I like the apartment style. It felt like I was at home rather than in a hotel.
