“Very Impressed”

Hotel staff were very polite and helpful in getting us to and from the city. The rooms are very very clean. We had a walk-in closet! The room smelled fresh. If I ever return to this area, I would love to stay again! The shuttle drivers were very polite and helpful as well.

“Great room for the price !!!!!!!!!!!”

My husband and I needed a room for just one night to take an early morning flight from Newark Airport. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Free shuttle not only to the airport but the night before they took us to a restaurant for dinner. Very friendly service and we highly recommend this hotel!!

“easy commute to NYC and Hoboken! better than i had expected! highly recommended”

great experience here. hotel was somewhat near an inner city area but i didn't mind. the hotel was very clean. i stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came everyday! free continental breakfast was awesome and they had a waffle maker too! to get into NYC, we had the shuttle at the hotel take us to the irvington bus terminal, which was just a few minutes away, and took the 107L into the city. it only cost us $5.25 (exact change was needed). the bus ride was only about an hour into NYC and the last stop was port authority. hoboken NJ wasn't too far away but traffic wasn't the most fun out there. definitely a great place to check out. overall the hotel was more than i expected and staff was very friendly. great deal and the hotel does not charge for parking, which is very hard to find. i would definitely stay here again! just a side note, there really isn't anything within walking distance from this hotel.

“Very good value.”

The hotel/motel is a very nice place to stay at a fraction of the cost of staying in downtown Manhattan. Travel to and from the city is no problem using rail or bus services (we did not use the bus). The motel shuttle will take you to whatever mode of travel you require at no charge. Getting to downtown takes about an hour using rail transportaion (15 mins to the airport using the shuttle, 15-20 minutes waiting for the train, & 20-25 minutes using the train).

“A clean motel in newark, New Jersey”

A renovated clean motel. I am very happy with its clean and spacious room, some furniture is a little old though. The location is convenient. The only little concern is the neighbourhood, but the motel is well fenced with a security guard on duty. If you are budget minded, I will recommend this motel.

“A very decent Hotel for the price involved”

Overall service was very good and confortable. The stay was for only one night and hence not many comments to give. A little away from the city centre. Just on the minus side: Floor mats should be provided in the bath rooms. Without the mat, sometimes it can be slippery!!

“Hotel was a nice, low-cost property. Mgt was nice. Hotel was not in a nice area.”

This is a low-cost, very comfortable place to stay -- but is in an economically depressed area. If you go to spend the night, no problem. But don't go walking around the area. You can order food delivered -- no problem, and the hotel van will take you to a resturant. I wanted to get some snacks from a small grocery about 2 blocks away and the desk clerk strongly (very strongly) suggested that I have the hotel van driver take me there and wait for me instead of walking. The room was comfortable, clean, large, not a bad room at all. But, if you plan to stay there; plan to STAY there. Oh, next day, they took me to the airport - on time, promptly, no charge. But, no, I doubt I'll stay there again as I felt like I was a prisoner of the community. But, it was comfortable, resonable price, I slept well.
