Iqualiut hotel
Only issue I had was a couple lamps in my room didn't work but overall had a very enjoyable stay. Onsite restaruants were good and the room was comfortable

GOOD: Good service, staff very polite and helpful. NOT SO GOOD: Bathroom sink and counter not very clean. Had to ask for a bed sheet as I was expected to sleep with quilt only...Unable to control the room temperature and it got very warm. Was able to open windows to help to cool down the room.

Reduced menu due to Covid-19 restrictions, but did not have accompaniments with meals (ie: gravy, sauces) nor was there enough meals in the small cafe for dinner for all guests.

Don't stay here!
The advertised service was poor. The hotel was understaffed and it took tow calls, one for 12 minutes the other for 18 minutes before they picked the phone up. Then they still did not show up to get me from the airport as paid for. Then there was no internet service as advertised. The Hotel manager then proceeded to blame me for not knowing how to use a computer (I have been using one for over 35 years). She was very aggressive and kept trying to pass blame on me. Even stating that I was "just a complainer." And wanted me to account for why there was not a big line up of people complaining. I recorded her conversation ad told her I was doing so before she de-escalated her behaviour. I also had spoken to the security guard before speaking with her and he explained that the hotel does not purchase enough bandwith. This was also confirmed by the staff at the bar associated with the hotel. For being the top hotel charging over $300 a night I expect better. Senior management need to consider who they hire to represent their hotel.

Best of limited accommodation choices available now in Iqaluit. Central for many of the conferences/meetings taking place. Rooms comfortable, complex has restaurant, bar, convenience store, coffee shop. Had to leave early and had no problems, staff helpful. Poor wifi service but that is normal in the north.

Good location. Not pleased with the lack of cleanliness. Dirty glasses, garbage in bin on arrival and stains on the bed covers.

Enjoyed the restaurant for supper. Front desk staff were very helpful. Handy to have a convenience shop on the ground floor. Centrally located.

Enjoyed the clean and comfy room on our way home from Ayuituqq Park! Airport shuttle and being able to store our packs at the hotel until our flight were very helpful features!

Frob is a good place to stay in Iqaluit. Has been around forever but they are always investing in upgrades and maintenance. My room had some recent upgrades to the bathroom and bedroom.

Great amenities for a small city
Asides from the heat being too high in the hotel with no way to control it individually, the Frobisher Inn is a great place to stay when in Iqaluit.

Best choice
This was my first trip to Iqaluit, but I would recommend staying at the Frobrisher. With all the amenities in the associated complex it made it easy to do what I needed without having to travel.

It's a nice hotel. Cinema and food options on the premises - but the curfew is weird.

Convenient, clean and friendly!
The Frobisher is a great place to stay in Iqaluit! The staff are friendly, beds comfy... the Internet could use an upgrade but it's tough in the North.
