“Great find!”

This was my third stay at this hotel. I will continue to book this hotel every time I am in the Indy area. It is worth the drive.

“Convenient location”

The Homewood Suites is a great place to stay. We only stayed one night, but it would be a good place for a longer stay with the kitchenette and large room with separate living area. Breakfast was decent as far as free hotel breakfasts go (eggs, pancakes, pastries, yogurt, cereal, sausage, juice) and that staff were all really nice. They even dropped us off in Broad Ripple for a night out using the complimentary shuttle van (until 10pm within 5 miles or so). Only complaint was that one remote (two LCD TVs) did not work.

“Better than the relatives' house!”

This hotel was a great value for the area - shopping and food was very close by. The room we had was spacious with 2 tvs and a complete kitchen - they even left popcorn for us. The staff were attentive - especially at breakfast (which by the way was very plentiful and fresh).

“Great for a family of four”

This hotel works perfect for our family of four. With the pullout sleeper sofa, we can sleep four comfortable. At other hotels they say they can sleep four, but it is usually on 2 double beds.

Staff consistently working to make stay more comfortable. Availability of complimentary meals 2x daily and shuttle to appointments, etc. made stay after surgery much easier! will return in spring for more surgery and will stay at Homewood.

“so-so”

It's showing some age. Paint in common areas needs repainting. Breakfast was poorly stocked; staff had to be prodded to provide plates after running out, along with getting more of other items, well within the published hours of breakfast operation. I'd say the breakfast experience didn't convey much hospitality on the hotel's part. Hotel advertising fails to detail evening manager's welcome reception is Mon-Thurs only.

“Must call for maid service”

We've stayed in this hotel for a few times now, usually visiting my bf's family, who all live in the neighborhood. It's usually pretty good service, the rooms and grounds are clean, well maintained. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. However, housekeeping service during this past thanksgiving left much to be desired. Of the 4 nights that we stayed, we only 2 housekeeping services. At check-in we were asked to specify the extent of housekeeping desired on thanksgiving. Knowing that many people will be hanging out in our room I requested full service. Housekeeping knocked at 8am and woke us up, opened the door and didn't bother to close it before they left, and never came back for the remainder of the day. On top of that, the only towel bar in the shower broke and a maintenance man came to fix except he took the parts off, left them on the sink and never returned. Given the previous good experiences I'm willing to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt and say it was perhaps the holiday.
