Quick get away...

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: most everything
Cons: showing a little age with some off the walls/trim and flooring but still looks nice
Location: Castleton is a great area for food, entertainment and the mall is right there too. its a great spot
Got to the hotel right at check-in time the front desk person was great and she even made me aware that I had double booked my stay via the internet. Helped me get through it and even refunded the extra booking. We were able to get a room right away an relax and do nothing all evening but watch movies and hang out as a family. Slept great and had a wonderful breakfast the next day down in the café. The wait staff was great and very accommodating when we needed anything, feeding 2 picky teenage boys is not easy but they were both stuffed when they finished. Overall very good experience and we will stay again for sure...

Nice Hotel

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean room.
Cons: Inclusive Internet service to room reservations would be nice.
Location: There are quite a few restaurants since you're off 82nd street.
The staff were very friendly. I wasn't too big on having to pay per device connecting to the Internet. When I stay at other hotels, it's usually included with my room reservation. The bathroom was a bit on the small side. I occasionally stay at lower end chain hotels that have bigger bathrooms.

Upgrade isn't always a good thing

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Cons: The fitness room definitely needs a fan or two in there. Being right next to the pool, it was rather stuffy in there.
Location: Close to Castleton Square Mall
Stayed for a 2 day conference and had made my reservation more than a month in advance. When I checked in, there were no more single-king rooms so they 'upgraded' me to a suite with a full bed -- no big deal as it was just me and I'm a little more than 5 ft tall. It turned out to be a room that would be better used for a hospitality suite -- conference table w/ 10 chairs, couch plus 2 chairs, kitchenette, very small closet, normal size or smaller bathroom (I've stayed here before and I remember the bathrooms being larger in the regular rooms), and the full size bed was actually a Murphy bed that folds up into the wall. The bed was too soft, not all the lights worked so there was no reading in bed, and the phone and alarm clock were tucked away in a cubby so that I couldn't see the clock from the bed. The TV (while a nice, normal size flat-screen HDTV) was directly across the room from the bed so it was difficult to watch TV while sitting on the couch or in one of the chairs (had to sit in one of the uncomfortable office chairs or watch from the bed and turn the volume up very high to hear across the room).

Hotel was convenient to Fishers, Carmel and Castleton as we were there for a house hunting trip. It wasn't too far to head to downtown Indy either. Room was quiet and comfy. Breakfast buffet was very good with nice hot and cold options. We stayed Friday to Monday on Labor Day weekend.

Worst hotel I have even stayed at that was markeda

First wifi didn't work in room so moved to another. Then that room the air didn't work. I had to hack the VIP mode to get air. It took three hours to cool off. Then I had the fatest steak ever from room service. The bathroom was tiny and broken tile.

2 Nights Stay

Posted 2-Sep-2014
Pros: Easy accessibility to the Interstate. Our room was held for us , as I called ahead and informed them of a later ( than expected) check in time.
Cons: Orange Pekoe tea bags in the Tea selection.
Location: Indianapolis Speedway Eagle Creek Conservation Area Broad Ripple Shopping Childrens' Museum
Stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting family near by. Bed was extremely comfortable. Pillows nice and fluffy . Linens clean and crisp. Front desk personnel were very pleasant and accommodating. Greeted by ALL hotel staff while we were there. Appreciated having a coffee dispenser at the front desk in the morning as we were heading out to meet family for breakfast.
