“Great View”

This hotel is a bit out of the way. It is located at the top of a mountain about 9 kms from Florence. The view from the hotel was spectacular (made up for the daily hassle of getting away from the hotel). Our room was pretty, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. The easiest way to get from the hotel to anywhere, if you don't have a car, is by cab. The cheapest way is by bus, but you have to walk down a very, very steep road to get to a bus stop. Also, the hotel staff is not very helpful about giving out information about taking the bus. They leave out huge gaps of information. There are two different buses and you need to pre-purchase a card for both of them. Also, if the hotel staff tells you that you should take the No. 37 bus to get into Florence, be aware that the walk to the bus stop is about 2 kms and there is no side of the road. There is a restaurant next to the hotel - Ristorante Montebuoni - and it was incredible. We looked forward every day to returning to the hotel and having dinner there. The food and service there both five star. We are still talking about the grilled beef.

“Hotel Villa Ambrosina”

Hotel is only 15 min drive from main turist attractions of Florence. It is good for exploring Chianti and San Gimigniano, Voltera ...Nature and view are beutifull from the hotel. I am very satisfied and I would come here again.

“Nice hotel on the hill top”

Room we stayed was clean and comfortable with nice scenic view from the window. The bathroom is large. The full breakfast was not what can be expected in UK or North America, yet with good selection of cold cut and fruit. We made right choice of not staying within Florence.

“Bon séjour, très bon acceuil”

Hotel tres bien situé, à 11 Km de Florence et facilement accessible en bus depuis le centre de Tavarnuzze ( Parking gratuit pour la voiture devant la supérette ou l'on peut acheter les billets de bus moins cher qu'a bord!) Tenue de l'hotel et situation tres appréciable, au calme, resto au top pas trop cher, acceuil chaleureux au revoir au mouchoir! Par contre jus d'orange mauvais, mais c'est tout alors n'hésitez pas!

“A little taste of Florentine Hospitality”

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and this continued during our 6 night stay with all staff encountered who went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable and informative as possible! The room was great with a lovely view and a decent sized bathroom. The room was large by hotel stannards. It was easy to drive down and park at th evillage and catch a bus into Florence. A tip for travellers is buy you bus ticket at th esupermarket or Tabacco shop as cheaper than on the bus. breakfast was a good buffet of cold meats,cheese,pastries,cereal etc. I would reccommend this hotel to all who are doing a driving holiday in Italy as a car is needed.

“A great Hotel Fantastico !!!”

We had a fantastic holiday in Tuscany, this was superbly complimented by the Hotel and its staff. The staff are unobtrusive but very helpful and attentive when approached, the rooms are of a great standard and airconditioned, so cool on return from a trip from the breathtaking delights of this brilliant area. The Hotel is not easy to find and the drive up the steep hill is not for the faint hearted until you become familiar with it.This hotel is a ideal spot for staying and touring Florence and Siena, and is handy for the major roads throughout the region. If you are staying in this region do not miss this little jewel you will not be disappointed!!

Seule ombre au tableau,hotel mal signalé,difficile à trouver .Tavernuzze n'apparait nulle part.Si arrivée de nuit hotel introuvable.Distant de 7 Km de Florence;par contre service de bus facile d'utilisation. Prévenir de la nécessité d'un véhicule.
