Imerovigli, Santorini Island Hotels

On the highest point above the caldera, Imeroviglio was originally founded as a lookout point to defend the island against pirates. Today, its luxury apartments set in gardens with pools make it popular with couples as a quiet, romantic getaway, though it is fast being developed.
