“Real country pub with character and great breakfast”

We arrived in the bar and were met with a group of locals who were most humorous and lots of banter. The bar is dog friendly and added to the feel that this was a real pub, not one of those dreadful 'themed' places -not 'luxurious' and the better for it. It even has a real skittle ally! Landlord Paul was most helpful and served a great breakfast. Very clean and bedroom had a proper large shower. Shepton Beauchamp is a little village well tucked away from the bustle of the modern world, yet many of Somerset, Dorst and Devon are within easy reach. Very reasonable cost and we stayed an extra day ! Warmly recommended .
