This is blatantly a business hotel, out to make money with minimal services.
There is usually over a weekend only one or two staff on duty and yet the price stays the same (is this a Health & Safety issue?).
The rooms are very much an afterthought & 'functionally' designed. They have been knocked together and the door shutlines are poor and probably would fail any fire test. The beds are not very comfortable; for 2 people there is nowehere to sit apart from the bed & one chair; the coffee making is dire (6 Nespresso capsules & 2 concentrated milk capsules per day{we had to ask for more}); parking is a nightmare; we ate in the restaurant once & it was overpriced. Our biggest complaint was that the hotel chain celebrated their annual staff party whilst we were there...a disco until past 0100hrs one floor below!
However the best part of this establishment is the staff...not only the one who provided an apology for the noise, but also organised a reparation. The other member of staff who we saw most will be missed as she also had great people skills, but has just left.
Would we stay there or at another Oceania hotel again? Possibly, but only overnight passing on to somewhere more welcoming.
