Excellent location and within easy walking distance to the old city area of St. Malo. Our room faced the ocean with a beautiful balcony with opening doors - such a fresh option to sleep with doors open and listen to the ocean at night - my happy place! Staff are super friendly and helpful explaining where to go and what to see. However, parking was not straightforward and explained. We ended up paying for parking down the street only to notice there is an underground option at the property no one told us about. Bummer. Also - there are TWO Oceania's on the strip. One is a 3 star and this one - which is a 4 star. We made this mistake!

Very good hotel, beautiful location
Very good hotel, lovely staff friendly and helpful, nice breakfast with lots of choice, beautiful views over the beach. Hotel was clean and immaculate. Rooms well stocked with tea coffee water, biscuits, beautiful rituals toiletries, everything you could need, dressing gowns and slippers provided. Couldn’t fault it - the swimming pool and jacuzzi tub was lovely , plenty of towels and loungers to relax. My only complaint is that the bar was closed throughout our stay, but there is plenty of places to get drinks nearby, if the bar was open it would have been near enough a perfect stay.

Good hotel.
Very good hotel, although the corridors had a musty smell. I’m told it is being refurbished this winter. Room was good with good air conditioning. Looked at the breakfast offering but didn’t bother at 20 euros each. Parking underneath was worthwhile as it is a nightmare trying to park in St Malo at this time of year.

Modern and pleasant but noisy and cold.
Nice, modern hotel, with good breakfast and easy on-site parking. While we were there (November), the hotel and room was a little cold. It was very windy, sounding like the balcony door was open, and made the fittings in the room squeak and rattle, which was slightly alarming (and annoying). Good location, close to old town.

Staff was really not friendly and not helpful at all, just because I speak English does not make me British, we left the room at 10:00 in the morning and came back at 16:30 and the room was not even cleaned, for a so called 4 star hotel one would expect a bit better, to any foreign Traveller speaking English I would really not recommend this hotel

It is usual to manage the cleaning service in the afternoon in order to not disturb in the morning. But it is also possible, if we know about, to manage it in other time. The Superior Oceane room you have booked is 23m², View over the Port and Saint Malo City. Some biggest rooms are available: Prestige Croisiere or Evasion. Perfect!
Perfect in every way. Spacious room, huge bed, quiet location yet only 3 minutes walk for, the main entrance to the walled city. Added bonus of underground secure parking for our bicycles.

A great find
This hotel is close to the old city and on the beach. The indoor pool is a gem- small but sufficient for a quick dip, and private terrace a treat. Staff were helpful and polite. Will make this our first choice St Malo hotel.

Very good location just outside the walls of St Malo. Friendly reception staff. Big bed. Good shower. Separate toilet. Nespresso machine. Nice bed linen. Soft big towels. Nice toiletries. Good choice at breakfast. Garage car parking is quite tight.

Very close to Saint Malo Old town but also the beach. Very easy to get everywhere on foot. Hotel was convenient but quiet.

Property was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Close to the old town. Unfortunately there was road works going on right by the hotel which made parking difficult (very expensive at the hotel). Road works also difficult for my sister in a wheelchair who could not get along the footpath.

Long weekend stay
Visited St Malo for a long weekend break and after looking at various hotels we decided to choose the Hotel Oceania. The hotel is in an excellent location and the service and standard of hotel was very good. Hotel car park was closed when we arrived but the parking on the street around the hotel was easy and for 3.60 Euros per day it is much lower then hotel price. The only thing with the room that we were disappointed with is the beds, they were too firm for us. Did not use the breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat in St Malo.

This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the walled city if St Malo. It is spacious, spotless and right opposite the sea. I even had a sea glimpse from our room which was at the side. The bed was VAST! It also has a lovely bar with outside seating where you can watch the sun set into the ocean. All the staff were very pleasant and keen to make sure we were enjoying ourselves

Fantastic hotel just beyond the old town
Fantastic hotel with great views of the ocean and the old fortress. Wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. Perfect location.

Beautiful Hotel on the inside, the customer service is of high standard and rooms are spotless, the Evasion room was stunning with 3 tvs to choose from shower and separate jet bath with built in tv, the hotel is literally 3 minutes walk from the st. Malo walls. Luckily we had great weather and the views are fantastic specially during sunrise and sunset. Slightly disappointed that the hot tub was out of action and although the evasion room is very nice its slightly overpriced.

Great location and exceptional comfort
We booked a room with a sea view and the view across the beaches and to the old town from the balcony was fabulous. Having driven all day from the Dordogne, the check-in was quick and efficient and the staff helpful. No restaurant at the hotel but plenty nearby and we had the best meal over the course of our two week trip at the restaurant next door (La Table d'Henri). A bar was available in the hotel for drinks and an impressive buffet breakfast choice available in the hotel the next day although at extra cost.

Booked a prestige room for our 30th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite, what a lovely room. Thank you so much it made our day. The suite has a great view of the beach and bay. Nice to sit on the balcony. Spacious area nice seating in room.
