Hotel is located approx 22 km from Munnar town centre, its not ideal if you like to visit other places around. Half time wasted climbing up and down from the town centre. Food cost very high, a lot better options if you eat outside but again the annoying journey up and down.
Overall its a OK place if you want to just stay in the hotel and don't mind food cost.

Excellent views, friendly staff
Good facility, wonderful location, very friendly and courteous staff. Food is over-priced though. If intending to visit Kokkumalai tea estate, this is well located, otherwise it is almost an hour drive from Munnar.

Good Location
Food charges are exorbitant and you have no choice but to buy at any price.
whilst planning the trip we very much wanted to see the tea plantations. This hotel though is nearly 30km's from Munnar town itself therefore very isolated.
It is predominantly a UK version of Butlins for the Indian market. A lot of large families and kids running around the hotel.
Rooms were tired looking and badly in need of refurb. Ended up cutting our stay short by one day.

Lovely Location, beautifully built
Had a nice stay, whether was very pleasant, in-spite of being peek summer
Stayed one night. Hotel rate was overpriced for the room type. No internet service in room. Had to go to recreation area to log on to wifi and even when I was willing to pay for internet service, they could not set me up. Room amenities were outdated looked like they were at least 30 years old. No towels available in room when we entered room. Noisy rooms - vehicle noise was bad. Food in the restaurant was sub par compared to other places/hotels visited in Kerala. Guess Club Mahindra has a monopoly in that area due to a dearth of good hotels.
