"Great for weekend excursion"
The 2 queen room had plenty of space, was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast room was well stocked and maintained. Parking lot was cleared the next afternoon right after the big snowfall. Location is excellent - a few minutes drive to ski resort or up to the lake. It was nice and quiet, treed all around, and removed from the road/highway. We got exactly what was promised/advertised/expected, and it was a great value for the dollar. Will definitely stay again.

We brought our two large dogs with us. They had a lawn right outside for us to walk them, gave us a bag with a tennis ball, treats, and info for the dogs. We stayed for a weekend and had a great stay.

"Rustic but oozes character"
Great location. Tiny very basic rooms and bathroom but lounge area and restaurant are fantastic, food is excellent and reasonably priced. Rooms don't have TV but you don't miss it. This place is full of character and very relaxing. Would stay there again definitely.

"Chateau Lake Louise with a lodge type atmosphere"
I think we've found the perfect spot to stay when skiing Lake Louise. It's the closest hotel to the hill, has a real fireplace in our deluxe room (when do you ever see that?!), and the cuisine is exceptional. The wine list is perhaps the most extensive I've ever seen. My wife and I had a 1986 Chateau du Chevalier Bordeaux to give an example
