Hôtel très agréable, accueil irréprochable, piscine très sympa, et alentours de l hôtel pratique (supermarchés, petits magasins...). De plus, San Antonio est une ville a la fois calme et festive!! On ne s ennui pas!!!!!!!!

we were very pleased with everything, the hotel was lovley, the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful n the pool area was extremly lovley, was near enough to town to be in the action within 5mins but far enough away not to haveto listen to it all nite!!! a lovley little bar round the corner "trevors mini golf bar" is a must visit ha!!!

“Excellent location, excellent hotel, excellent island”

This hotel is an undiscovered jewel! The rooms are so spacious with fantastic facilities and it is in a great location within walking distance of all the great bars and restaurants but far enough away from the Westend. The staff cannot do enough for you; any issue is resolved almost immediately. The bar staff are extremely friendly and the poolside food is fab - a good range of food to choose from with great music played all day. The maintenance man seems to be around 24/7 and takes so much care cleaning the pool area every morning and throughout the day. The reception staff bend over backwards to make sure your stay is a great one; and can organise car hire, club tickets and always have time to get to know their guests. My one complaint.....I only stayed for one week.

“Will definitely stay again”

Perfect for groups of people to stay for a clubbing holiday in Ibiza, but I would stay there for a budget-type holiday with a boyfriend or family as well. Will definitely use this hotel when I next visit. Rooms are large and (technically) could sleep 5 (if pushed). Two single beds in separate bedroom, a pull-out bed from the sofa, and the sofa folds into a double bed too! But it's obviously more comfortable to use the sofa just as a double bed for one. I booked 3 rooms for 5 of us, and we slept in only 2 of them - we just used the other room as a shower/getting ready room! Felt it was cheap enough not to worry about the extra room! If I was going with 5-6 girls now, I'd definitely only book 2 rooms. Air con in all rooms too, except ours stopped working on our last day. We informed reception and they assured us someone would look at it after we left. Pool is an OK size - not exactly Olympic! But enough for a little swim and to sunbathe by. Pool bar looked quite lively too, but we didn't use it much. Spar supermarket about 5-10mins stroll from hotel if you're going totally self-catered. VERY useful. About 15-20min stroll to the bay where bars and restaurants are, and a further 10mins into the actual town. But it's not so nice there! It's MUCH better to stay where this hotel is as it's a lot less noisy and the walk into town is very scenic! Also,if you're going clubbing, the walk into town passes all the club reps trying to sell tickets, which is great before a night out.

“Ideal for quiet loaction but close to everything”

Travelled with my boyfriend and 2 friends, we booked 2 twin rooms, one was considerably larger than the other but didn't matter as we just slept there. All rooms have twin beds which can be pushed together to make a double. The smaller room had one balcony (with a view of scrubland/back yard), ours had 2 - one with same view and one overlooking the pool. Rooms were very clean, had air con and had mini soap, shower gel, shampoo, comb provided. Be careful as the shower curtains are a little flimsy and if water sprays on the marble floor it gets very slippy. We just put towels down. There is a fridge, 2-ring hob, kettle and toaster but we didn't use anything as it was reasonable to eat out all the time with just 2 of us. Also a small tv in the living room but don't think there were any English chanels. There didn't appear to be anywhere around the hotel to sit and relax, other than the rooms but this didn't bother us as we were always out and about. The beachfront and all the shops, cafes etc is a 2 minute walk (if that). There is wifi which you have to pay for. The West End (where all the party action is) is about 15 mins walk along the seafront which makes it ideal as it's quiet but close enough to get to. You could also get a taxi from reception. We didn't use the pool (although it looked nice and very clean) but it wasn't manned at any time. There is a small bar by the side of the pool. We didn't eat at the hotel either.

“ibiza closing party accomodation”

Reco des sol is located very close to the bay, yet you will still have a 10 minute walk to all the main bars in the westend of San Antonio but as it is warm it is a nice walk. It is good for a large group of girls like we were as you could get 4 in a room, and the rooms are VERY reasonably priced. However the hotel doesn't like loud music or noise so you if you want parties in the room this is not the ideal place. Overall was a good location and would recommend to others.

“Nice Hotel”

I stayed here Aug-Sept 08. Room: Nice, seperate living room, small kitchen in the hall area, no oven, but had microwave, seperate bedroom with large double bed, cotton sheets and fluffy brown blanket and overblanket, pine furniture and a full bathroom with bath & bidet. 2 balconys, 1 off the bedroom, 1 off the living room, overlooking the bay, really nice views. I had to sweep the floor on many occasions as it was FILTHY. My slippers kept collecting the filth, thick dust, hair (not mine-yak) and in the end I got on my hands and knees and mopped it all with a dish cloth, and I was still finding thick clumps of dust wandering round like tumble weed. I wont mention under the bed!! The maids came in 3 times a week and did their best, made my bed and changed the towels. Only real complaint is that in the 3 weeks, the air conditioning leaked 3 times. Firstly all over the window/curtain, then drippin through the roof into the wardrobe soaking everything with dirty smelly water, and then all over the dressing table and onto shoes that were on the floor. But they sorted it out after a few days, just as we were leaving. Pool: The pool is lovely. Bit on the small side but there were plenty of sun beds to go round. The music at the pool bar is sometimes loud but on other days it was great. I didnt eat at the hotel. Location: About a 6 minute walk to the beach and a great bar called Trevor's Bar. The hotel is just far enough to enjoy the best of both worlds of San Antonio & the Bay.

“Ibiza Apartments St Antonio”

Me and a mate stayed here for the closing parties, quiet location for sleeping and poolside resting. Yet still a short walk away from St Antonio (10 mins). We got the 1 bed apartment, one of us slept on the sofa bed in the lounge and the other with the two single beds in the bedroom so we had a room each really. The food from the poolside bar is a waste of time. There is a great restaurant nearby, just walk down to the seafront and its the one with 2 big gates and a fountain, its a large place but just a 2 floor restaurant (no rooms) with seats outside upstairs so good views, it does a wicked huge t-bone steak for 20 euros. or walk further towards St Antonio and you will come across a very orange bar called the tulip which is good for lunch, a beer or just a smoke and a pancake. However overall we spent more time at Ibiza town and would stay there next time, its a bit cleaner with a higher average age group and has more to offer if you like good food. I think the restaurant mentioned here which I have forgotten the name of is the only good one in St Antonio, if they have photos of food walk away.

It took me a long time to decide which hotel to choice among the large number of hotels in San Antonio. All I can say is I make the best choice for my budget....quiet but close to all bars/restaurants, great views and very helpful staff. The only thing I would change will be the sofa bed for a double bed as my boyfriend had problems fitting in....but I knew when I book it so I can't really complain!!
