A good stay as long as you did not pay too much
"Not bad" except a big spider found in the room, a graco outside the room, a mouse in the coffee shop, some flies in the main restaurant, very poor snacks, almost the same food day after day, poor garden view, some staff at the pool bar and room service are not polite, room location

The worst 5 stars hotel I've ever had!
It was the worst experience I've ever expected to have with Expedia! It started the minute I entered the hotel. The reciptionist told me that there's no such reservation although I called the hotel 2days earlier and confirmed the reservation and asked for an early check in. Although I showed them Expedia email with the interary no# and the hotel confirmation no#! They kept me waiting for around an hour and I was exhausted after a 7 hours drive. On the first day, the water ran out while was taking a shower and covered with soap. It cane back 10 minutes later dirty and with offensive smell. I booked the room for 2 adults and a child so I asked for a baby cott but they didn't bring it until I asked for it three times and it was brought the second day! The hotel resturant was the worst! The food quality was aweful and the variety was very little over the 5 days. The grill chef was frowning and asking him for an extra piece really annoyed him! The chicken was not cooked enough and there was blood inside! The very obvious notice I made at all was that I've never seen any hotel staff smiling! None! The only positive side to the stay there was the intertainment team. Their shows were amusing and my daughter liked them.

A Hotel from the Cave Ages :)
I can't really remember if I did wrote a worse rating experience with another hotel or not during my life, but this one so far is the worse ... Congratulations for the most worse i've ever been to

the staff was amazing and the animation team was lovely the food was great only missing more fruits the pool was great , the room was comfortable but the air condition wasn't working well MR George is a great man that always there to help

An ok stay
The hotel itself is ok but I wouldn't say it's 5 stars like it was rated. That staff are great besides some exceptions at reception. The food I wouldn't say was anything great with the food being almost the same everyday. I only stayed for 2 days so I can't imagine people who stayed there for a week loving the food. The room was clean and I felt right at home in the hotel. The hotel pool and beach are wonderfull. Overall I think the hotel is more like a 3 star resort.

Big hotel, limited activites
big hotel with a good infrastructure but very limited activities and facilities specially on the beach, no water activities at all. the beach is far way from the rooms and the sea is not good on front of the beach, you have to walk along over a bridge on the water to swim. staff is not enough everywhere, i think its kind of cost reduction, but they are trying to do their best to present an accepted services. All-inclusive: snacks and drinks are very limited and lower than normal rooms are very clean and good view, staff are friendly, the cost redaction approach is very clear and reflect to many things

Good hotel
We were family and friends, we stayed for four nights, we enjoyed our stay, people were friendly, smiling and ready to help. Rooms were clean and food was nice, with a variety in the menu, mr. Georges in the restaurant was passing by always to check about the food and the quality. Music entertainment was available and cheerful in the lobby. Neighberhood was friendly too and full of markets. I gave it 4 instead of 5 just because the check in was too slow, 2 hours to get the rooms and we asked about a ground floor, they gave us a second floor. But beside this we enjoyed our stay, and we wouldnt mind to stay there again actually we are looking forward for it. Thanks Sonesta team for making our stay enjoyeable and quiet.

Outdated hotel, horrible food, dirty beach and don't even think about the pool.. Every single detail in this hotel is a screaming failure and it doesn't deserve a 5 stars, I'll give it 1 or 2 stars maximum.

Lowest level of hospitality
Definitely not a 5 stars hotel it's a Georges place with the lowest level of hospitality and services. this is my first time I see careless ,untrained unhelpful ,unorganized sometime rude reception staff like the one they have. I would say they kind off lacking the basic skilled of hospitality. Staff work hard but the definition of hospitality is not exist. Example we were placed a food order in the bar area and the food came in, but we didn't get any utensils and when I asked one of the staff behind the bar for knifes and forks" he said you need to go to the main Resturant to get some yourself " and he walked away. Very very few of staff know how to smile. AC most likely is not working in the main Lobby and the main Resturant we were sweating there. Room is nice and clean. Pool is also nice and clean but they let fully dressed people to swim in it. They have a private beach but it's rocky one Food is good it's not very good one. Finally I would say it wasn't the right choice for our vacation.

We enjoyed the spacious area, the gardens and trees all around.its very peaceful Although we can't see the sea from the room, the walk to the beach is pleasant 5min and I didn't regret not really seeing it from the room. The umbrellas on the beach give a sense of privacy even if crowded The most joyable , is the staff, very helpful, cheerful,..... I brief they made the whole stay experience amazing

Great resort near the mall and places of interest.
Great experience overall staying here. It's got a beautiful private beach with coral reefs which is about a 10 minute walk from the rooms. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Good hotel but could be better
This is a big hotel, almost a village. There is a bit of everything: shops, restaurants, pools an a beach bar. I enjoyed my stay and people working there are really lovely. The only problem is that it is too geared towards Russian, there is a russian restaurant, russian karaoke; russians rule...therefore it loses a bit of its egyptian charm. I wish they will think a bit more internationally. The standards of the hotel can be better. One night at the russian restaurant I was given a plastic glass of wine, which was chipped as well. That should never happen in a 5 star resort. It's far from hurghada centre but it has some shops just opposite. All in all though it is a nice place, and I would go back. The private beach is gorgeous.

The hotel was huge. the premises were well maintained and right on the beach. It had a nice pool, as well as pool for children with fun activities for kids. The rooms were quite well maintained and very clean (not ultra modern, but served the purpose very well). The staff overall were very friendly and warm, especially during meal times at the restaurants. The food was also quite good, and the open buffets were awash with a variety of dishes. The check in and check out was speedy, though the people at the reception could be a tad bit oblivious when they are under stress and the hotel is busy. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and my children had a lot of fun enjoying the beach and pools.

I had great time. So far my first vacation in 5 years. Hotel. Food is decent, coral reef near by, you don't need to drive far away for snorkeling. A lot of sun, beautiful sea. I had some problems with Internet, I suggest to buy SIM card with 1Gb for $15. Hotel WiFi is overpriced. Reception overstressed and not friendly at all. On Expedia they are advertizing wireless Internet for 15 LE (around $2) per day, but actually it's $12 per day. Almost 6 times more. I was looking for non-smoking king size bed room, I got the room with cigaret smell and two twin size beds. Minibar is empty.

I thought it would be good, but it was totally the opposite in everything, I arrived 12pm & they checked me in at 4:30pm, also the staff wasn't friendly, also they told me that they didn't receive my booking from Rates To GO & they wanted me to pay for my stay agian, so this is my 1st & last time here.

It was very nice doing snorkling while standing on soft sand seeing terrific coral reefs and enormous varient coloured fish at the hotel beach. encouraging trip to go back to this hotel.

As previously stated fantastic hotel, modern resort good position and not effected by building program currently being undertaken in Hurghada. Food in Valentinos Restaurant exceptional. Nice Beach, Pool, Entertainment. All staff extremely helpful nothing is too much trouble. Local shopping. Very relaxing.Carts to transport to to and from the beach and to the main building if you are staying in a garden bungalow if you desire, or just walk through the gardens to all areas.

a realy nice place for relaxation
the check in was pretty smooth. The room was great, spacious and really clean.. at 7 we went down to dinner which was fine and in general the buffet items changes everyday for dinner. Breakfast was okay too. The best thing about the hotel is how it's located somehow far from the busy city center. It's the perfect place for a relaxation holiday.it's more of a resort where there is a supermarket, a hairdresser, pub, theater, bar etc etc all in the same place. The only defect was the sea.The beach is followed by corals then comes the sea water where you need to walk on a jetty in the water to be able to reach the swimming area. As for the pool, it was the best part of the holiday :) I'd recommend it for anyone who wants some relaxation n chill time

The hotel is far from the city, or from any other activity, you need a taxi with the incovenients of it, always discussing prices etc, other wise they will rip you off. The pool is nice but very cold for the time of the year, the Red sea water temperature is better! Prices in restaurant a bit high, as we not in a all inclusive program. Its not a 5 star, at least for european standards! Furniture is old and rooms start to show the use! But in general the room was clean. Its dificult to get attention of personnel to get served!!! Long waiting time to be served a meal even if the a La Carte restaurants will have just a few people. But its ok for a week getaway, just for the experience.

Saknades lite saker när vi kom fram men det gick att ordna. De brydde sig och såg till att fixa de saknade sakerna. Maten var inte god men kan säga att middagen var väldigt dåligt varje kväll. De har en annan kock under middagsstuden som inte alls kan laga mat. Efterrätterna såg bra ut men var rejäl sockerbomb. Se till att ta med egen smör, ber du om smör där så får du djupfryst smör till brödet som de värmer. Finns ingenting att göra utanför hotellet. Personalen var trevliga och bemötte oss väl.

E' una struttura pe ogni tipo di esigenza, pulita, con personale gentile e molto disponibile.Situato al centro, dove è possibile raggiungere facilmente le varie località di Hurghada in pochi minuti.Si trova sul mare, con una bellissima spiaggia sempre pulita.
