“Excellent!! Give it a try and I promise you will love it!!”

This was a great hotel for the price. The rooms were brand new. They were renovated last year. The staff was friendly. I had booked a queen size room. At check-in the front desk upgraded my room to a king room with a microwave and fridge at no extra cost. I will be returning here again the next time I am visiting the convention center.

Exceptional!! Had a good stay. Close to Nokia Theater and Staples Center. Rented a car better then public transportation. The property was nice. I was able to go to Downtown within minutes. Will return again.

“Nice clean Rodeway Inn in L.A. off the beaten track!”

Surprisingly nice and recently redecorated with very friendly staff. While a little off the beaten track you are still only 20 minutes from downtown L.A. The rooms are nice, clean, and very quiet at night. Very authentic small mexican food restaurant near front office. IHOP next door. Wireless internet, cable TV, onsite parking with video monitoring. Highly recommended for budget travelers.

“It's What's on the INSIDE that counts..RIGHT?”

Mothers did always tell us: "it's what's on the inside that counts" Of course our dear moms where talking about a person's heart, their personality--all the non-superficial qualities. Well the same could be said about this Rodeway Inn hotel. Hidden within the BUSY and RUN-DOWN city of Huntington Park, CA--you'll find a newly refreshed budget hotel. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The view..eehh, well not so comfortable to look at. The service was friendly, nice and very welcoming. The front desk associate asked me a number of times if there was anything I needed. Housekeeping also knocked and asked if she could help in any way. This type of attentive customer service isn't usually expected at an economy hotel--I was glad to find this hotel did. So going back to what mother said--the location isn't anything to wow over, it could even be something you run from. However, the service, appearance and value of the Rodeway Inn hotel was an A+ in my book.

“I liked it!”

Nice little hotel, great staff and awesomely located if you have a car and want to travel around the city. Very close to major freeway, liqour store across the street and I-Hop right next door, with another cheap breakfast joint around the corner. The staff was very nice, we had a small ant problem in our room but they were sure to clean up and make sure that everything was in order as soon as we mentioned it. The hotel is clean, but small, considering what we paid for though, it was very worth it. We were in the "hood" so to speak, but the location lent itself to some fun adventures! They were also very sweet when we left, asked us to come back and considered us family :) will definitely return!

“Not much to look at from outside, great deal inside”

All we wanted was a clean, decent place to rest our heads during a quick trip to LA. Although the place looked extremely sketchy from the outside, once inside we were greeted warmly by the very friendly staff in a nice clean lobby. Our room was small...just big enough for the queen bed, two end tables and a bureau with TV, and the bathroom had a shower stall instead of tub, but it was all very nice and clean and looked as though it had recently been remodeled. A fellow traveler remarked that it was much like a European hotel. For the very low price we paid, I feel we got a great bargain! One downer: the continental breakfast was simply pre-packaged danish and juice and coffee. I still feel we got a great deal because we could afford to go to Starbucks for breakfast and still have saved a bundle!

“Amazing”

The whole Inn was way better than we expected. Our room was simply amazing. The beds, the linens, the bathroom, all of them were nice and clean. We had free wifi, that was actually working pretty well. The staff was really helpful and kind. Special thanks for the guys at the reception for their help with our luggage! :) The whole experience was amazing! 5/5...really... Perhaps the only con is that it is not so much in the center. But if you have a rented car you can get to anywhere in like 15-20 minutes which is pretty good in LA I think.

“Enjoyable stay, great price”

Beautiful hotel, extremely friendly staff, would stay there again. They had told me they had just opened up a few months ago and everything was new. My room was clean and tidy for most part, but there was some touch up needed to be done on the baseboards(not a big deal). They have a nice deck I relaxed on which had a few chairs and tables where I laid in the sun while surfing the net. O yeah the internet was free! They have a nice restaurant on the property which felt like room service because you can place your order from the room and they bring your food up without all those room service charges associated. This place is down the street from downtown LA, I had attended a seminar for USC at the LA Convention center which was close enough to grab a cab and not fork out $20 for parking.
