"Simply amazing!"
We stayed for two nights and found the facilities to be top quality. Room was spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Superb breakfasts are served in a very stylish, large, open plan living area with 3 sets of bi-fold doors opening onto a patio area and garden. Our breakfasts were exellent and it was fun to chat with our hosts and other guests in a wonderful setting. Nicky and Stuart are happy to hand over their property to hen nights, wedding and family gatherings, brilliant idea. They are engaging hosts, are very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

"Braywood House Hotel"
This was a pleasant surprise. Although the owner was out when we arrived, every effort was made to let us know, and we could let ourselves in. When we eventually met the owner, he was charming and helpful. The location is peaceful (despite the nearby railway line). This is a small family-run hotel and the owner clearly understands the needs of his guests. The included breakfast was generous and freshly cooked. I would recommend Braywood House to anyone, and will certainly use it next time we're in the area.

"FALCON'S NEST"
Nice clean & welcoming standard room/chalet with one standard double bed & one folding double bed, wardrobe, dressing table & bedside cabinets - loads of storage space if you were staying more than one night. I would happily stay here for a week or more. Central heating there for cooler weather. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery & cuttlery, kettle, toaster, fridge & microwave, even washing up liquid provided. Plenty of nice white towels, some toiletries & liquid soap dispenser on the wash basin. Nice bedding & pillows. Beds reasonably comfy. Flat screen tv on extending wall bracket. Free Wi-Fi Couldn't get anything to eat on the complex after 5pm & not sure if there is a pub or restaurant nearby. The reception staff didn't know either. St Ives is not too far away though. Nice little gift shop on the complex - a bit pricey but no tat, all very nice things in there & no hassle from the man running it - he said hello to everyone who came in & then just let you browse. Reception also has a shop that sells the usual tacky stuffed toys, pens, notebooks, animal masks etc - again quite expensive. We spent £30 & didn't get offered a bag. Good breakfast in the restaurant - nice girl doing the cooking and serving too. The deluxe rooms looked very nice from the outside. The Raptor Centre & Reptile & Meercat experience were both small but very good - the staff in both were very knowledgeable about the creatures in their care. Would stay again if in area

"very pleasant"
people say that 1st impressions make all the difference and they certainly did, Simon (the Landlord) knew who I was straight away when my partner and I turned up which made me smile, he made us feel very welcome. The Hotel was just a short drive away from Papworth Hospital which is where my Partner and I had to go. The Staff were absolutely Lovely. We would Deffinately go back and recommend this Hotel to friends/family.

Old Riverview Guesthouse & Tea Rooms

A really charming guesthouse and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. The rooms have been recently renovated in a contempory style with good quality stylish furnishings. The tea room also looked very appealing although not open for business during my stay. I would imagine the evening meal would have been good but as I hadn't booked in advance I ate at the local pub across the road which was also very good. Really friendly locals and plenty of parking, although the main road directly outside the hotel is very busy

Huntingdon is a thriving market town about 20 miles northwest of Cambridge. Its most celebrated resident was Oliver Cromwell who was born in the town in 1599. Huntingdon retains its medieval bridge across the Great Ouse, and boasts England's largest meadow. The George Hotel stages Shakespeare plays in the summer, and horse-racing fans can enjoy a meet at the local racecourse.
