“Meets all my expectations”

We were here briefly and the stay went well, however, when I tried to call to get specific directions (could not find on GPS), I could not understand the man at all. I wound up stopping at a gas station. The person answering the phone needs to be understandable.

“fine for the price”

for some reason hotels in this area are extremely high priced- this is not a brand new hotel and the tv and cable offerings are not flat screen and dismal- in that order. But the staff is friendly and helpful- the breakfast was free and included waffles and fruit-The addition of a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room with a wegmans right down the street made my weekend:)

“Affordable place to stay while at the Regional Bridge Tournament”

We were there only to play bridge at the Hunt Valley Regional Bridge Tournament. Our hotel was cheaper than the hotel where the tournament was held, and easy to get to--literally right around the corner. There were good restaurants in two directions, some within a mile and many others 3 miles the other direction, so --convenient. The hotel room was a good size and clean. The breakfast was great. My husband doesn't usually eat the sausage or eggs, but he did this time and loved them.

“Would go back for a short stay.”

The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast I was not impressed with at all. The Comfort Inn is nice for a short stay of 1-2 nights. Hotel staff was professional.

“Cigarettes are gone but the smell is there.”

They advertise 100% non-smoking rooms. That might be true but they did not get rid of the old mattresses and blankets. They reek of cigarette smoke. After a while you feel sick. The room had a big window overlooking a main road with lots of flashing neon lighting. But the shades only covered half the window. I couldn't sleep - I checked out at 4 am.

“Not the best by a far shot.”

Just had a weird feel to it. Esthetically poor. You can definately do better.

“What happened to the hot water?”

Price is definately right and I feel like it was a good value for the price, but the first morning there was zero hot water and that was that. Went down for the complementary breakfast and heard lots of rumbling about no hot water. I appreciate the breakfast but there were lots of empty bowls and dishes so you just had to pick from what was there. First morning there were no eggs, second morning no pastries. Coffee was good though. It was fine, it was comfortable except for the water fiasco. Husband was mad there was no ESPN, he called the front desk and was told someone had stolen the box.

“Just okay”

The last time we stayed here, 4 years ago, it was owned by another chain, and was better maintained. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't lovely.

“Good hotel, noisy location”

If it wasnt for the traffic noise and location of this hotel it would get a 4. Breakfest was good and well stocked, staff is friendly, hotel is clean. No restaurants in walking distance, and neighbor hood is kind of sketchy. Overall if your looking for a place to sleep and a hot breakfest its good, but get a room in the back away from the street.

“Comfort Inn.... High prices out”

First let's keep in mind that this Is by no means a 5 star hotel. That being said, for the price and for a basic stay, comfort inn Hunt Valley was extremely nice. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, comfy bed and adequate amenities, and FREE breakfast was kinda tasty and hot and fresh. I would definatly stay at Hunt Valley comfort inn again. Now as for some other Comfort Inns..... to be continued.
