Very basic, close to airport

Posted 11-Apr-2014
Airport shuttle never came, even though we called it. No restaurant. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but common areas are absolutely neglected. Staff was not particularly friendly.

Very nice staff, free shuttle to airport

Posted 8-Apr-2014
Pros: Staff & location to IAH.
Cons: No smoking at all. Stairway doors fixed. Stairway cleaned.
Location: Walk to a few small restaurants and subway sandwiches. Restaurant in parking lot.
Good for a nights stay before catching a flight at IAH. The entire staff was very nice and helpful. Small pool that felt great for a swim before bed. Not much to do close by but the rooms/beds were very comfortable and they offer a free shuttle to the airport. Hallways reeked of cigarette smoke but we we're glad our room didn't. Stairway door ways are either missing deadbolts and knobs entirely or the catches are taped open. Stairway littered with cigarettes which explains the stinky hallways.

Remodeled motel next to airport

Posted 4-Apr-2014
Cons: Everything!
Ill-arranged remodeled motel. We had to ram the door shut but it would not shut properly. The room is not arranged well. Bathroom is the smallest I have EVER seen. It was okay for an overnight stay but definitely would not want to stay there longer than one night. There are only two places that deliver food to the hotel, an Chinese place and Dominos. Breakfast was atrocious. The eggs were cold and the sausage was too gummy to eat. Danishes were stale. The only positive about the hotel is the front desk staff. They were courteous and helpful. Otherwise, would not recommend this hotel. The Hilton next door looked much better...

Great location, great staff, soggy room

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: The staff!
First, the staff is great! Everyone we spoke with was helpful! The room was a little damp and the air con didn't seem to help get rid of the dampness.

Would not do it again!

Posted 20-Mar-2014
Check in took forever...desk clerk was chatting instead of working! Asked for wake up call that never happened and when I mentioned it at check out the clerk said " we'll I guess you didn't need it, you are here"! When I went to check out the van had just arrived and so I approached the desk and told her I needed the shuttle to let him know and she responded "he will leave you...and not in a good way"! Then she proceeded to take FOREVER to check me out even though it was a pre-paid reservation! Seemed I was an inconvenience to the van driver. Room was nice and clean. Skimpy breakfast with no bananas.

This hotel works for a brief overnight near IAH

Posted 10-Mar-2014
Pros: Accessibility
Cons: The hotel is dated...
If you have to spend a night near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, this hotel works well.

worst ever

Posted 3-Mar-2014
Pros: facility except for the TV controller
Cons: staff
On arriving, no room was reserved for my reservation. Finally got a room. When i opened the door, the previous gust was just ready to check out! Oh, the TV remote control is hard to use - you are lucky if you can change a channel.

An airport hotel, convenient for stop over.

Posted 30-Jan-2014
Pros: Convenience, friendly staff, breakfast was good for the US.
Cons: In the room, 2 glasses should be provided for water, only 2 coffee machine beakers were provided.
Location: Catch a plane, rent a car...
It was fine as a one night stop after a long flight to USA. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Free Shuttle to and from airport was fine, no problems. Room was comfortable, comfy bed, good heating, with basic but adequate amenities. Wifi in room was slow.
