“Home away from home”

My husband, two children, and I stayed there on the way to our Disney Cruise and on the way back. The staff at the hotel (especially the man with the raspy voice) were excellent. We booked one room w/ 2 queens. We were upgraded to a suite on the first night because they were out of queens. During our 2nd stay, the air conditioner stopped working and we were immediately put in a suite again. There was only one washer/dryer and the laundry room could have been nicer but the free, yummy breakfast made up for that. I thought it was all around a great place to stay.

“Houston visitors”

The hotel is at the entrance to Bush airport close to the freeway off ramp. There is a restaurant on the site (Hot Biscuit) and there are other places to eat on the other side of the airport entrance road. The shuttle service the airport is very good and the internet was excellent. We were there in the cold time of December, so the heating worked very well. Certainly the A/C unit looks very good. The morning breakfast, which is included with the room had lots of choice. There is a city bus (number 102) which runs to downtown Houston; however since we didn't use the service, cannot give information about how long it takes. The stops are along the road to the airport, as the airport is the turn around point, where it heads back downtown. We were on the third floor and found it quiet, about the only noise is the other room doors shutting.

“Convienience”

Great place to stay if you have a layover in Houston and catching another flight. provides a shuttle bus to and from the George Bush International airport. Less than 10 minutes away. Quiet place. A 24 hour Restaurant is next door. Is great if you need breakfast for an early am flight, as the Ramada is not open till 6 am for their complementary breakfast. Would recommend this Ramada absolutely.

“Great airport hotel”

The check in process was quick, and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback was that the room felt very small and craped with the 2 beds.

“Close to Airport - Friendly and Good price!”

Overall the hotel was great. Location was close to the airport. Breakfast was fine, the staff brought out fresh eggs, bread, cereal as needed. Front desk staff were very busy, but continued to be very helpful. Beds were comfortable. I was a bit disapointed in the condition of the bathroom and the walls were stucco, but you could tell they had been updated. Overall it appeared clean, comfortable and safe. We did not have time to check out the outdoor pool, but it looked very inviting.

“Improving hotel currently ok may get better soon”

I would say this hotel is under a gradual state of renovation. Things have been modernized yet they are stil aways from being a very nice hotel. The staff were very good and the location, while a bit tricky the first time is quite convenient. AC worked well, theres a fridge in the room. Breakfast was good, You see lots of little touches that give the impression that someone is investing money to make this place better, and are just doing at a managable pace.

“Not great”

Not great, just ok. Proximity to the airport is good, but the condition of the hotel leaves something to be desired. Carpets in the hallways old and dirty. Each time I turned on the tub the water was completely yellow for 1 or 2 seconds. I was greeted by a small black beetle upon arriving in my room. Opened the toilet and saw a large black hair from someone's head (probably from housekeeping). Rooms are small, sink is right next to the entrance door instead of in a room. Breakfast was skimpy at best, no ketchup available. Waffle mixture was empty.
