There were cobwebs in the bathroom and a mouse trap placed partially behind the refrigerator

The Ramada is in poor condition and poorly managed

Posted 3-Oct-2014
Pros: The rooms were adequate.
Cons: Well presented staff in sufficient numbers and with appropriate knowledge.
Check-in was chaotic with too few staff trying to answer telephones, work the car park gates, deal with shuttle drivers and maintenance contractors and FINALLY dealing with clients arriving tired and frustrated. The common areas and the external areas were well worn, damaged and in need of refurbishment. The staff seemed lacking in training and knowledge. The breakfast was sparse and those staff who were present did not want to take responsibility.

Nice Low Cost Hotel for Near Airport

Posted 1-Aug-2014
Pros: Inexpensive and close to the airport
Cons: Taller counters and toilet. Would be nice to move the shower head up a foot or so.
Location: Airport....only thing I was interested in
Nothing special one way or the other when just looking for a low cost alternative to catching a flight the next morning. The room is a bit small for two people since the one and only sink is small and next to the entrance door. The toilet is short and child sized so if you are tall and a senior citizen (like me) you will have trouble standing after using it. The counters are all low as well. Nothing much more to say about the place other than it is a good place to wait for a flight when surrounded by more expensive alternatives.

Comfort & convenience

Posted 25-Jul-2014
The room was clean & seemed recently renovated. The beds were quite comfortable where our whole family slept well! Great for our one night stay on a flight layover.

cheap and cheerful

Posted 24-Jul-2014
Basic hotel.... rooms a bit old but clean. Close to airport and complimentary shuttle. Lots of nicer hotels within walking distance if you want to go eat or have a drink. If you want more luxury then you will have to pay for it.... plenty of choice in the vicinity. I would not hesitate staying here again if over nighting at IAH.

The staff was wonderful, very pleasant and helpful. The property is very much in need of a makeover! It is old, tired and run down.
