The staff was friendly and helpful. Do not disturb sign was missed. A little more protein on the breakfast bar would have been nice. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Well definitely be staying at their location again very clean nice very high end compare to other hotels and the pricing.

Property was well kept and clean with reasonable rates.
Very nice place for a short stay. Check in was friendly and fast. Our only complaint was they did not offer a later checkout when I called (only extended by 30 minutes). Then a girl came to our room and asked us to check out before our time was expired.

Our third time to stay here! Super comfy bed, affordable, good location and we can bring our dog!
This was our second time to stay at this hotel. It’s a great location and very comfy. I love that we bring our small dog with us. It will definitely be our go to place when we are in town visiting family and friends!
My family really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was a Suite and it was very spacious! The beds were both very soft and comfortable! The gentleman and lady who worked the front were both a delight!! I saw several reviews complaining about a smell which we did not experience. Everything was clean and fresh! As well as fussing about breakfast variety..the gentleman was upfront while checking in and told us they no longer offered a full breakfast bar which was ok with us as my family isn’t breakfast people anyway. There was still cereal, bagels and other options available. The pool was nice and clean and they provide you with pool towels as well. What really sold us was that they are pet friendly! We were very thankful for this because our fur babies travel everywhere with us!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Hmm where to start. Price was great, staff were accommodating when we asked for another room. The hotel has a very damp musty odour that doesn't go away. First room was not as bad as the reception area. Second room was much better and proved adequate. Pool was nice to use but breakfast we ended up having to go and buy something for the wife who needs GF cereal. What's up with hotels serving kids sugary cereal for breakfast? We adult people pay the bills! Property was handy for The Johnston Space Centre and the Kemah Boardwalk but it really is a fading star of its former life as a La Quinta hotel. Only saw about five other 'guests' over our three nights stay. Not the worst place I've unfortunately stayed in, but so far from the best. Please spend some money and give it a make over and sort the bad smell out. You really do have to hold your breath walking I to the reception area.

We are a family runned business and take great pride in our hotel and our property which is why we have been in business for over 6 years after choosing to leave the LaQuinta brand due to their falling productivity and fees. We do not serve a hot breakfast and only advertise a completely free continental breakfast that you pay nothing added to your reservation price. It includes bagels, cream cheese, toast, butters, jellies, 3 types of cereals, oatmeal, grits, pastries, coffee, OJ, milk, and tea. It is unfortunate upon your departure that your bed was found to be soaked in urine. We had to put the room out of service and have the mattress professionally cleaned.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress had a huge sag in the middle. After a terrible night, i was feeling ill in the morning so we had to cut our trip short and go home. Then they refused to refund us for our unused nights so they basicly stole our money. Beware. There are nicer places to stay in tge area that won't defraud you and provide a bed that you can actually get some rest in. Also, the heat index was 112° and their AC is not very good. Also had to listen to loud noises overhead late into the night. Never again.
The owner is a very nice man. We stayed in the family suite, it was a great size for my family and the beds were super comfortable! The room did have an odd smell but not terrible.
Wow, this place was a joke. Dogs barking till 11:00 pm. Dog crap in the hall way. It had a bad stink to it, an it was hard to breath for someone with asthma. I would seriously look in to having it on my list to rent.
I didn’t stay there because when I arrived, a lady in her tank top came out to the front desk and said we only needed to pay with cash and she couldn’t even look up my online reservation. We turned around and left right away. She made us feel uncomfortable

You arrived late after our front desk audit had already run therefore our overnight attendant could not see your reservation as it was the next business day on the system. Since your reservation didnt show all she could do was have you pay in cash to check in and next morning if you wanted to switch payment to your credit card and get cash back we could have happily done that for you. We dont feel leaving this bad review is warranted when you did not even stay at the property.

I liked that it was quite and close to our destination, but the cleanliness was questionable and customer service was awkward. Overall, not terrible, but not great either. Definitely going to aim for chain hotels moving forward.
It was clean and the staff was nice. The bed was to hard for me and not much on the breakfast could have been more food out basics just cereal and bagels and orange juice that didn't taste that good. I wish it would have more on the breakfast.

A 3% extra charge was added to my bill based on a change to pricing in 03/2023.
The continental breakfast was bread & bagels, cold cereal, orange juice & coffee.
I felt more should have been available based on the price I paid!
The room itself was ok but certainly needed upgrades!! (Rusted tissue holder)
Staff was wonderful, bed was comfy, room was clean. Within walking distance of restaurants.

The room above must of had 4-5 kids in it. Same with rooms on my floor which created a lot of noise. These type of guest should be grouped together. We did complain to front desk and they reduced the noise for an hour then started back.
Customer service was superb by Heather! I stayed for two days and she was always eager to help and did so with a smile. Clean room although but of a musty smell. Overall enjoyed the stay!

The pictures online are not what the rooms look like. When checking in we noticed it wasn’t set up the same and the room looked completely different. When talking with the front desk , we were moved to a room that better fit our need. The staff was accommodating.

While we appreciate feedback this is absolutely false. The door to your suite does function correctly and was not wide open at anytime as we checked hallway security camera footage. No one went into your room and stole any belongings. We are a family owned business and have had same employees for many years. We run a honest business. And wouldn’t stand for anything less. When housekeeping was cleaning your room after you left she saw headphones in the garbage and took those out and put them in lost and found. Another family member called the hotel apologizing for your accusing staff of this and stated you threw the headphones in the garbage.
