“Brand new La Quinta sparkles”

This brand new La Quinta is well worth the stay. While not a luxury hotel it smells clean and everything is new. Our room was mid-sized and not small. The bathroom seemed quite large for the price point. We did have a problem with the billing but the hotel clerk straightened it out politely and professionally. You are near 1960 so restaurants and shopping are nearby by car.

“New hotel, service could use improvements”

The hotel was new, clean, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was very poor (the waffle batter had soured, the coffee was bitter, and the pastries were not fresh so there was not much else to choose from). Although part of my selection criteria was based on the availability of the continental breakfast we only ate it once then went elsewhere. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by a grumpy looking front desk (this after flying all night long and then a four hour long drive). The front desk personell afterward was helpful and nice.

“Comfortable Stay”

The first room they gave me was smoked in or the smoke from the room next door which was a smoking room. They did very quickly reassign another room which was very clean and no smoking smell. The complimentary breakfast was great. It included eggs, waffles, cereal, etc.
