A Great Deal!Posted 4-Mar-2014
Pros: The price was super-right!
Cons: Maybe a little updating for the hard-to-please, but it was fine for us.
Location: We were visiting family, but did a little shopping across the highway a convenient Target and Dress Barn.
We enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza NW Brookhollow. We arrived very late, and the air conditioner in the first room they gave us didn't work. The clerk then allowed us to move to a new room where the air conditioner was just fine. The hotel rooms are not elaborate, and we had to kind of laugh at the "shamrock" wallpaper in the bathroom. But hey - Expedia gave us an amazing price for this room and we were pleased. Aurelia, the clerk on Sunday morning, helped me by finding a Catholic church service and our favorite restaurant too. She printed directions and maps for us with a smile. This was undoubtedly a very quiet weekend in NW Houston. Aside from the road construction, the hotel was easy to find and convenient.

Nice hotel for the pricing.Posted 17-Feb-2014
Pros: We took full advantage of the room service! The breakfast was also very well to do.
Cons: The access to the hotel off the freeway exit.
Location: There were plenty attractions nearby.
He had a great time. We wanted a simple get away for the holiday and it worked out fine.

First off all , I paid for one night $115 from expedia And I thought it was good deal , than the hotel charge me another $50 !!!! So the total was $165 !!!! Secondly , I arrived to the lobby at 3:15 pm and I had a reservation from 2 days ago , the room was not ready so I had to Waite another 20 mins till they find me another one . The room was very clean but the matrix and pillows were uncomfortable . Unfortunately after this experience I won't choose that hotel again , I would rather choose the crown plaza ricer oaks where I had a very good experixence before .

Don't stay here for over $75 per nightPosted 14-Feb-2014
I'll start with the positive, the hotel staff was friendly and nice, however they were badly mismanaged. On the aesthetic aspect, the hotel is run down and need of a major makeover, to the tune of gutting and starting over. Very disappointed with my stay. I would have turned around and walked out if I hadn't already paid for it on Expedia. For reference of the reader, I typically stay in Aloft Hotels to Hampton Inns when on business. I will never stay in a Crown Plaza again.

Nice stayPosted 26-Nov-2013
Pros: Staff (especially Henry), beds, clean rooms.
Cons: Free breakfast. Less people hanging around the lobby for no apparent reason.
Location: Located next to the freeway. Lots of restaurants nearby.
We stayed at the Crown Plaza Noerthwest-Brookhollow for 2 nights. Henry checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. In fact every time we walked in the lobby he went out of his way to greet us and ask how everything was going. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Run down hotelPosted 7-Nov-2013
Location: Hotel is on a one way street and very inconvenient to turn around.
I checked in and was met my an unwelcoming front desk clerk. I had notified her that I had a room upgrade through expedia but she said that I get the standard King room and there is no upgrade from there for the room I booked. So basically I paid an additional XX bucks for an upgrade that does not exist. She did not check with her manager or anything. I stayed on the sixth floor. The room was in horrible condiition, dust everywhere, cracks in the bathtub/shower, holes in the carpet, etc. Bed was lumby and I had to clean the toliet seat since it looked like it was never cleaned from the last guest- very unpleasant! Thank goodness my stay was only one night or else I would have changed hotels. I fly to houston for business often, and will never go to this hotel again! The morning front desk clerk was pleasant but I did not even bother to tell her how the stay was since I was glad to be out of that hotel. Also the morning breakfast included is a joke, unripened fruit, hard bread, and a few yogurts available.

Hotel is just fine - beds are good; restaurant is just OK; they overcook the food. The bar gives small drinks.

Old HotelPosted 13-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
Not impressed with Hotel. Room is not designed for the business traveler. The TV is built into a cabinet and can only been seen from one of the two beds in the room. When you open the pull down cabinet to make coffee it blocks your pathway to the rest of the room. Part of the hotel has a tower and the other part is in a two story motel.
