Nice stayPosted 26-Nov-2013
Pros: Staff (especially Henry), beds, clean rooms.
Cons: Free breakfast. Less people hanging around the lobby for no apparent reason.
Location: Located next to the freeway. Lots of restaurants nearby.
We stayed at the Crown Plaza Noerthwest-Brookhollow for 2 nights. Henry checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. In fact every time we walked in the lobby he went out of his way to greet us and ask how everything was going. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Run down hotelPosted 7-Nov-2013
Location: Hotel is on a one way street and very inconvenient to turn around.
I checked in and was met my an unwelcoming front desk clerk. I had notified her that I had a room upgrade through expedia but she said that I get the standard King room and there is no upgrade from there for the room I booked. So basically I paid an additional XX bucks for an upgrade that does not exist. She did not check with her manager or anything. I stayed on the sixth floor. The room was in horrible condiition, dust everywhere, cracks in the bathtub/shower, holes in the carpet, etc. Bed was lumby and I had to clean the toliet seat since it looked like it was never cleaned from the last guest- very unpleasant! Thank goodness my stay was only one night or else I would have changed hotels. I fly to houston for business often, and will never go to this hotel again! The morning front desk clerk was pleasant but I did not even bother to tell her how the stay was since I was glad to be out of that hotel. Also the morning breakfast included is a joke, unripened fruit, hard bread, and a few yogurts available.

I thought the name would mean a awesome and fancy hotel. That wasn't the case. Hotel is dated and stale. I would rather stay somewhere else for the money. Location didn't mean the most to me, so this wasn't the best choice for me. I was in a rush to book a hotel.

Great room, better price.Posted 24-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was a bit turbulent, because of a mishap with housekeeping. Make sure to chain your door, when you get in your room. Aside from that, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and very professional. The room was nice. The location wasn't to bad. Great restaurants in the area.

In general the hotel was very nice. Unfortunately my room was across from the manager's reception/breakfast area and was quite loud. Next time I will request a room on a different floor.
