“Just what I needed”

The hotel does looks kind of old, but the rooms have been remodeled recently and the furniture looks and feel brand new. Good option if you dont mind to be 2 blocks from Las Vegas Downtown.

“Brilliant for a Buget”

A short walk from Fremont Street and just across the road from El Cortez Casino. Not the prettiest or plushest hotel, the room is basic, but clean and the bed is comfy. TV and phone (local and 1800 (us version 0800) are free) bathroom with bath and shower. Outdoor swimming pool again very basic, I didnt try it out and about too much.

“All about service!!”

I made this reservation with a special request. Even though I know such requests are not guaranteed it is a very welcome proof of service when the staff goes above and beyond to make your request possible. This is especially important after a long drive when the last thing you want to do is encounter a problem with your reservation since you make this type of arrangements prior to your arrival so that you do not have to wait for your room. Thanks a million for a speedy check in by an outstanding employee! We've definitely bookmarked this property!!

“comfortable stay”

There was an extremely large group there and my stay was comfortable. Staff did not bother us. It was cool

the location was close to a friend's hotel and close to the freeway, though a little obscure from view.

“Quite impressed”

I was looking for a cheap place to stay on the way to Disneyland. Motel 6 rooms are usually nice, so I booked (even though it was only given 1 1/2 stars). I am glad I saved the money by booking there. The room was comfortable, my special request was honored and the staff was accommodating when we asked for more bed pillows. The pool was my kids favorite part. I will definitely stay there again.

“It is what it is”

If you're going downtown and need a cheap place to crash, this is the no-frills way to go. Nothing fancy, nothing nice about it, but it was clean (inside) and the riff raff walking the streets below was too far away from our third-floor room to bother us.

“Pool Conditions”

Vegas during the month of May was very hot and I would have enjoyed taking a dip in the pool. Unfortunately the pool was not clean and had various bugs and things floating in the water. Really was not appealing. All said, the hotel was good.

“Generally good”

Obviously had just been renovated- in fact workmen were still there doing other rooms. Room was very clean and beds quite comfortable. Only 3 complaints:1.Complimentary coffee was offered but if you did not get there before 8 a.m. or earlier, it was gone and no more would be made; 2. The plastic key card rarely worked more than once and the lock to our room was jammed so a strong shoulder was needed shove the door open; 3. There is a nightclub on premises and patrons are allowed to use all of the parking spaces supposedly reserved for motel customers.
