“Good, clean hotel”
The room was larger than I expected and very clean. I have no complaints with the hotel and would recommend it to tourists who need to crash and want a comfortable stay. It is located next to Wind Cave National Park, by far one of the prettiest parks I've seen, so driving through the park to get to the hotel is a treat. The hotel offers breakfast which was just okay. For dinner, go up the street to Woolly's Mammoth Family Fun. Their burgers are excellent and the prices are even better.

The swimming pool and one of the hot tubs are in a separate building that is not connected to the hotel. While I was there, only one of the hot tubs was operational and only partly so (several of the jets were not working; it was more like a tub of hot water). Overall, the room was nice. The mattress was comfortable and included both soft and hard pillows. A few minor upkeep issues could have been repaired in the bathroom (cracked light cover, plastic part of light fixture coming unglued above sink), but the functionality of the room was not impacted. The hotel staff was accepting of my small dog and gave us a room close to the stairwell and exterior entrance to accommodate us. The one-time $20 pet fee was much less that what I would have paid in boarding costs.
