Very comfortable beds. Some of the best we've ever had in a hotel. Quiet. Excellent wireless connection. Friendly staff.

The Hot Springs Super 8 was on the truck bypass and was easy to get in and out of; it was even located next to the Mammoth site and an evening restaurant was next door. The room was comfortable, good beds, very clean. Desk clerks were courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Breakfast was good, complimentary newspapers provided, and the morning news via TV. If I go back to Hot Springs, I will stay there again!

“Good starting point for exploring the area”

The hotel is very basic and outdated interior but clean. The breakfast was minimal...you might do better to eat out or bring your own food. The receptionist in the evening looked about 15 years old but the day staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue with the motel is that their Expedia cost and their billed cost did not match up but Expedia took care of it.

“Super 8 in Hot Springs”

Excellent bed comfort and good pillows. Nice scenic, open area that the hotel is located. Breakfast was Ok-nothing spectacular-but included.

“Very helpful staff”

The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful when we needed to find some children's medication. He went out of his way to call and verify that the store was still open late at night and gave us very good directions. Many thanks!

“Basic hotel, nothing spectacular”

We were here for a family vacation. The Sturgis Harley Davidson 70th year rally was also going on and made hotel space a premium. The beds were more comfortable than expected. The hotel room was small as expected from this chain. Unusually, the main entrance is on the second floor and we had to walk downstairs to our room. Hotel on a hillside so still window. Free continental breakfast was most basic we encountered on our vacation. Just cereal, juice, coffee, and some bread/bagels. Dining room was crowded for breakfast.

“This was my last visit”

We were allowed early check in and allowed to move to a smoking room with "not much" hassle. We did have to run and extension cord out of the window to plug in the boat. The staff were extremely untrained but helpful to the degree they could be. I logged on to the "unsecure" Super 8 Internet and received a virus, now have to take my laptop in for repair. I will not ever stay at this Super 8 again, you can take your chances.

“most revolting hotel experience I've ever had”

Even before we opened the door to our room, there was a terrible sewage smell in the hallway. We were dismayed to find that the smell was coming from our room. When we walked in the room, the sewage smell was overpowering, there was a large beetle on the carpet, and there were 5 flies flying around. We talked to the front desk, but they didn't have any other rooms available. So, they let us borrow a flyswatter and sprayed the room with some air freshener that did nothing to get rid of the odor. In addition, the continental breakfast was a mess--there were no paper plates or bowls left, most of the food was gone when we got there at 8:30, and there was milk and cereal spilled all over the place.
