Almond Beach offers a range of accommodations from elegant ocean view luxury rooms to family sized suites. These provide a luxurious place to rest after an active day of diving, snorkeling or exploring the magic of Belize.

Almond Beach Resort and Spa is located in the Stann Creek District, south of Belize City on the mainland coast of Belize. We are close to a number of Belize's national parks, Mayan ruins, and world famous diving and fishing. We offer many different tours to explore the eco-wonders of Belize's diverse wildlife and landscape. Guests have free access to kayaks and bicycles to undertake their own Belize adventures.

When dining at our partner restaurant at Jaguar Reef Lodge, expect only the best! All meals are served on our covered patio overlooking the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea.

Our chefs and restaurant staff are friendly and will see to your every need. The many fruits and vegetables that we serve are grown locally, an increasing amount coming from organic farms.

Breakfast

Let the gentle morning breeze ease you awake as you enjoy a continental or hearty American breakfast. Menus are varied but will likely include such delicious items as fresh squeezed orange juice, tropical fruit, fresh baked banana bread, eggs any style, waffles, omelets, French toast, pancakes or Johnny cakes.

Lunch

After a morning of activity, a delicious lunch awaits you. Lunch selections change daily, but might include a seafood salad, clubhouse sandwich, chicken and bean burritos, seafood pie, a local special, and of course plenty of fresh fruit!

Thirsty?

Ready for a drink? We have two bars on site. There is a full-service bar at Jaguar Reef Lodge and a swim up pool-side tiki bar where we feature a wide selection of delicious tropical drinks including piña coladas, fresh fruit daiquiris, margaritas and our special house drink, "Jaguar Juice". We have plenty of local ice cold Belikin beer on hand and a wide selection of wines, sodas and liquors.

Dinner is served

Dining at our partner restaurant at Jaguar Reef Lodge is casual yet elegant. Get ready to create some unforgettable memories! You'll be dining by candlelight and listening to the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea on our open-air patio. Your dining experience begins with soup or salad and a basket of freshly baked rolls. You can chose from our many varied entrees including our daily specials. We always feature a vegetarian option at dinner.

What will it be: grilled fish with pineapple salsa, melt in your mouth lobster with coconut rice, tender pork kabobs with pineapple, or rosemary chicken with potato wedges?

Make sure you leave room for dessert! Will that be freshly baked coconut pie, moist carrot cake, fresh fruit or chocolate mousse? After all this, enjoy a coffee and liquor and then perhaps a moonlit stroll on the beach, or swing in a hammock made for two.

Our peaceful treatment rooms are located away from the laughter and bustle of our nail and hair salon, where you can meet other guests who are having their hair revitalized with kukui oil after a morning spent snorkeling the reef; their legs and feet refreshed in a Belizean rain forest soak; their skin nurtured from a little-too-much sun; or their nails painted for a far-too-soon return home.
