“Nice location”
Got to the hotel late at night so they upgraded me to a superior room. It was a nice experience. You can walk to the back of the hotel and you will find a lot of shopping places and good foods.
“Hotel Park Lane Hong-Kong : bon hotel dans Causeway Bay avec vue sur Victoria Park”
Bon hotel, avec un bon niveau de service, donnant sur Victoria Park, a 3 stations de metro de Central. Peu d'Occidentaux dans l'hotel.
“Nice Surprise”
The Park Lane was more than what I expected in overall terms. Room size was more than adequate compared to similarly priced hotels in the city. Also had a nice view of Victoria Park and part of the harbour. Staff was unusually helpfull and dedicated for a hotel this size. However, I was confused by the advertising and thought Internet services were included in the room rate. Had to pay additional charges. Also the hotel was not included in the free bus route to Convention Center and had to walk a couple of blocks. Not a major problem unless it is raining. Location is vey good for both business and shopping. My overall impression is the Park Lane offers a good value for your money. I recommended it over similarly rated hotels and will be going back.
“Nice hotel and good location”
We stayed in the hotel as a stop over before coming back to the UK. We booked a park view which was fantastic. Overall we were impressed when we first arrived. The porters took care of our bags and the service was very good. The room was spotless and luxurious too. We had one niggle though.. when ordering room service the food arrived nearly cold and the cost compared to what we received wasnt that great. I made a complaint and I received a very sincere apology from the head of catering along with a gift for my wife. Customer service is very good in this hotel. The breakfast was excellent.. huge array of pastries, american breakfast, fruits, dim sum and juices. I was very impressed with the selection. I would recommend this hotel... but park view is a must.
“Great stay”
I could not fault it in any way
“Fantastic stay here”
My husband and I stayed at the Park Lane with our 20-month-old son for the convenience to the park and shopping. My husband was in Hong Kong on business and we wanted to be able to walk everywhere - which we did. The deluxe park or harbour view room was better than expected, with both park AND harbour views. My son spent a lot of time watching the people on the street below from the window of our 17th-floor room. The room was a good size, although you can never have too much space with a toddler! I ordered room service a couple of times and it was fairly fast, with very nice food. At some places you hang out the "clean my room now" sign and it is still there when you come back - not at the Park Lane. The cleaning staff are very efficient. We had a good experience and will definitely stay here again.
“Excellent Hotel in Hong Kong”
This hotel is clean, friendly and a very high standard in a good location taxis are cheap and available (5 minute queue at peak times). I would not hesitate staying there again. Airline staff use it so it must be good.
“Excellent venue”
I stayed in the Executive Level, which was beautiful. The staff was very accomodating, the room was wonderful and the property beautiful. The breakfast buffet (included in the room price) was absolutely fantastic. The only possible negative was the spa services. I had a manicure and a pedicure, and they were adequate, but not necessarily what one would expect from such a luxury property. However, they are in the process of renovating the spa and perhaps that had something to do with it. In any event, I don't stay at a hotel for the manicure, so it was no big deal. The checkout was a bit confusing, as there were charges on my bill that did not relate to me, but did relate to the event I was attending. Again, mistakes happen and they cleared it up when I brought it to their attention. I would definitely stay there again.
“Good hotel”
Good view from our room. Excellent location.
“Great location across from Victoria Park, with excellent view.”
I've stayed in Hotels in Hong Kong for the past 33 years and have become very picky with the hotels that I choose. The Park Lane met with all my expectations and then some. The recent remodeling has brought this hotel up to a very high standard. In addition to the great location across from Victoria Park, the location is extremely convenient to shopping (of all kinds), restaurants and the MTR station only one and one half blocks away. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for stays of any type, business or pleasure.
