“Excellent location and price”

This hotel was very good for the money. It was adjacent to the convention center. Most areas were easily accessible by taxi which are reasonable in Hong Kong. Room was a bit small but I didn't stay in the room very often. Would definitely stay there again.

“Good location, comfortable and well priced”

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel. The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was small, but not exceptionally so and was well laid out with everything we required. It had recently been refurbished and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet should cater for most tastes and was very reasonably priced. The hotel overlooks the harbour and is an easy 10 minute walk to the Wanchai MTR and about the same to the Star Ferry pier. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We upgraded to a harbour view which looked across to Kowloon, the Star ferry pier and clock tower and museum.

“Good Hotel”

Good location, but slightly disappointed by breakfast buffet. Renovated room is very cozy, though a little small.

“Nice location”

This hotel room was very small but adequate. It was our first experience in China so we needed to get used to small! Other than that it was clean and very nicely located. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to us.

“good value YMCA !”

I used to live in Hong Kong but didn't know this hotel at all; I guess because it doesn't have a bar ! I was there for two days on business and to see friends so wasn't really that concerned about the quality of the place but was pleasantly surprised. The view from my room was of the Hyatt and I felt fairly smug thinking about the GBP 200 per night I'd saved by staying here. If you want simply to get a bed for the night on HK island, highly recommended. If you need somewhere to meet business associates or for wining and dining, you'll need to find somewhere else I'm afraid.

“Very good value for money”

Considering the price of the room compared to other hotels in Hong Kong, I wasn't expecting much. However I was pleasently surprised. The service was excellent and, although I was alone, the room would have been fine for two people. My only complaints would be there was no hair dryer and the room service food was a bit pricey and not of a very high standard. Overall though I would definatley recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Very good place to face to harbor if you got right room, our room has a nice view with beautiful harbor, even lie down on bed we still can see the harbor. The room is small especially bathroom, but it is clean. The service is nicer. Hotel restaurant seems a little bit expensive, but very easy to go our to find a right restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is not far away from Wancai Metro Station if you know the way. We always took Metro to somewhere in Hong Kong. If you like water front, this is a good hotel for you, only a few minutes walk to Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre where near by harbor.

“Ok room for 3, better for just 2”

My husband and 15 year old son stayed at the hotel for about a week on vacation. We basically only slept and got cleaned up in the hotel room - there wasn't room for anything else. They brought in a roll-away bed for my son (who spent some nights sleeping on the floor because the floor was more comfortable). The main 'issue' we had with the hotel was the location. It was several blocks (including a footbridge over a major road) to the MTR station. After a day full of sightseeing, it was tiresome to have to walk that far and climb all those stairs to get back to our hotel. Otherwise, the place was always clean and they provided a pitcher of ice water in the room daily.
