“Good value”

I stayed here for a few nights and was pretty pleased. The room was small by Western standards, but given that I was in Hong Kong it was more than satisfactory. It was clean and the bathroom actually was rather large. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. This place includes free Internet which most hotels in HK seem to charge a fee for. The location was okay. There are quite a few shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Though I had read some reviews commenting how the hotel was located a ways up a hill, I had no problems with it. I can see where someone hauling two suitcases might have some difficulty given the slightly steep grade, but there are only 2 short wide blocks to get to the base of the hill and traffic is not an issue since the hotel is sort of in a cul-de-sac. One thing I should've done is consult more carefully as to where the closest MTR stop was. Having misread my map and street signs, I ended up feeling my way to and from the stops, but it seems the East Tsim Sha Tsui and Jordan stops are about 15 minutes away by foot.
