“It's Cheap, people are nice, and the rooms are clean”
It's the cheapest place I found in the best location so I booked it. In actuality it was pretty good. The rooms are real small, but they are clean, get cleaned everyday, and the staff can do your laundry. I thought it was perfect for what I needed. The only complaint I had is the internet was spotty. It would go in and out the first two days I stayed there and then got better for some reason.
“Nice Safe and Clean”
Really good budget option in the area. Mr Danny at the reception was nice and very helpful.
“I love HK!”
I was really afraid about hostels in HK, because people had told me that they use to be small and not clean, but this one was the opposite. The room was quite big and clean! I like it very much!
“OK 2 Star Hotel”
We enjoyed our short stay. The beds could have been a bit softer. A little difficult to find. Little signage on street frontage.
“Great location to Airport Express Bus # 22 and walking distance to most attractions”
Room is rather small but okay for one person. Walking distance to Temple Market, Women's market etc. Bus to Airport a block away. Yes, I would definitely stay again.
“Great for budget-minded students.”
Overall the hotel has a good value for its price. We were both students, one of us had lived in Hong Kong before. He felt that this room was equivalent to previous residential accomindations he had when living in Hong Kong and that the price was quite fair. I would recommend this hotel, or stay here again if I am in Hong Kong on another week-long stay.
“Location Location Location”
If you need a good location, this convenient small hotel. Well, is not a exactly a hotel, is more like a small and old apartment complex, yes ir has very small rooms, toilet and shower is in the same space, but if you need a clean place to sleep, not expensive, then this place is OK. The place needs maintenance...yes, but is clean. Personal very friendly. Has very old TV's. Overall the place is fine and serves the purpose. Bus stop to the international airport and other destinations is very near, train station is also very close by, many places to go check out nearby. If I need to go back to HK, with no family and do not want to pay much in a room to stay, this is an excellent option.
“Tough to find the first time, but I'd stay here again”
Rent-a-room HK is in an alley off an alley, which made it a bit tough to find the first time. Fortunately, all the cab drivers seem to know where the street is, so if you're persistent you'll get there! The rooms are typical Chinese size (no extra space anywhere!), but very clean and well outfitted – I was surprised to find AC, a fridge, a small TV, a phone, a clock radio, a safe, and decently fast internet in both rooms in which I've stayed. The staff are great, and check-in/out are a breeze. The hallways were quiet, which is a rarity in my experience in China. There are loads of restaurants and shopping nearby. MTR and bus-stops are within walking distance. The Kowloon ferry is about a 10 minute taxi ride away. Overall, I wondered at first if I had made a mistake in booking this place, but now that I know where it is I would totally stay there again because it's clean, comfortable enough, cheap, well located, and has great staff. Oh, and bring your own towel because they aren't supplied!
“Interesting place for first time visitors to HK”
For the budget traveler to HK this is your place. Located in the heart of TST near the Jordan Street neighborhood, this little hotel is a good find. They tell me it has 90 rooms, each floor has about 10 rooms in a shared hallway. My room was small but clean. I had never had a bathroom where the sink, toilet and shower all share the same space. They tell me this is common in HK, well it works you just have to learn to adjust. The hotel is located on Tak Hing Street. The street has several restaurants just feet away from the hotel entrance. Of course this is HK so there are restaurants everywhere. At night, despite the density of the neighborhood, it was pretty quite. The bottom line, if your on a tight budget for your HK visit, this is a nice choice. If you can afford more I would look elsewhere.
“not well ,but worth of that money”
cheap but not comfortable. The air conditoner was too noisy. The location is convenient.
