“Always a delight”
This is a well maintained, well managed facility in a convenient location. Service is excellent. Room Service and the Breakfast Buffet are quite good. I've never eaten at the hotel for dinner. I've been to Hong Kong about 40 times and I've stayed at a number of different hotels. I normally stay in Kowloon. I regularly stay at this hotel and I'm always pleased.
“situation ideale”
confort total, service parfait.
“What a view”
The Hotel is typical of the quality hotels in Asia with everything feeling brand new and of high quality. Spacious rooms and bathrooms with enough room in the shower for two or more. The view from the harbourview room was as per the pictures shown on their Expedia site and was fantastic. Its certainly the right side of the harbour to stay if you want the classic Hong Kong skyline view. You could sit and just look forever, escpecially at night. The Hotelis walking distance to major shops/malls/tourist streets of interest and one of the best public transport systems I've ever used that will take you anywhere you want. There are excellent tunnel systems outside the main entrance that take you to major streets and transport in aircondioned comfort on traveling walkways. The breakfasts would suite any taste and excellent quality as was the dinning experience. We spent a week there and were sad to leave. The staff were magnificant. We will be back as soon as possible.
“Comfort, convenience”
Great location if you want to be on the mainland and only steps away from the subway (MTR) if you want to cross to the financial district and the peak on the island. Hotel services are great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating
“Nice hotel in a good part of the town”
This is a nice hotel away from downtown. The rooms are quite large and the hotel service is wonderful. The location is a short walk from metro that can take you anywhere in the Hong-Kong area. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.
“Best Hotel in HK - can't wait to go back !”
The hotel harbor view is breath-taking and impressive. It may be pricey but well worth for the view, hotel services, concierge and convenience. Our family enjoyed the stay very much and looking forward to return soon. We miss HK because of our stay in ShangriLa-Kowloon. I am a picky with my hotel and I don't have anything bad to say about them. The bellmen are friendly and extremely helpful.
“Great business hotel”
Great hotel. Great service. Food good.
“Everything I expected and more”
I think it is one of the best hotels I ever stayed, colse to everything, (shopping, dining, ferries, no need to use taxi ) very nice attention by the hotel staff, very nice beds, very nice touch the fruit and tea in your room at night before you go to bed.
“Great place to stay”
Everything was better than expected. The rooms are spacy. The staff is very attentive to every need you might have. It would be great if the internet access was included in the rate. Hotels of this category that cater business travelers shouldn't charge for internet.
“Kowloon Shangri La Was Wonderful”
I recently stayed at the Kawloon Shangri La in Hong Kong. It was perfect. Excellent service, clean and beautiful rooms. Great business center with free coffee available in lobby. Quick acess to the Express Train to Guan Zhou. Great shopping nearby. Perfect friendly place. Only small problem was an extra firm bed, which is common in China. I will stay there on my next visit.
