“A beautiful place!”
All staff were very friendly and helpful, and if they couldn't speak English, were able to get a staff member who could. Our room was amazing - beautiful, spacious and clean! The pool was awesome, brekky was great. We stayed 4 nights and easily could have stayed here longer! Excellent value for money!
“Wonderful hotel”
The hotel is well located between the town and the beach. The food is excellent better than the restaurants we tried near by. The staff are very friendly and show great concern if you leave any food as they think you are unhappy with it. The pool is lovely and the grounds are very clean with lots of greenery and fish ponds. The rooms are lovely large and very clean. The only issue we had was the waether as we arrived in March but this is no fault of this excellent hotel
“Enjoyable”
This hotel was very relaxing and the room was great. Good location. The happy-hour hours were a joke.
“Someone recomended it, now we will do the same”
Beautiful place - not in town, but free shuttle to beach and town gives you access. Not too expensive by taxi if you don't use the shuttle. Good seafood near the beach, not expensive, but fresh. Nice little eating places along the river on the other side of the street. In town - try Mermaid restaurant. Great food, recommended in a number of guide books. Pool was nice, but a bit too warm for refreshment. Massage was not as good as expected. The staff did not seem very experienced. Other hotel staff were helpful and polite. Cooking school at the hotel was excellent, gave us a good idea of flavour combinations, but be ready to scribble as he shows you the dishes as there are no written notes! Don't have a big breakfast either - you start eating at about 11.00am! Overall, had an awesome time with husband, mother in law (adventurous 82 year old) and sister in law. Mum LOVED it!
“Stay at The Hioi An Trails Resort”
Hotel was fantastic. A real find. We only stayed for one night but wished we had stayed longer. Overall a fantastic hotel with even better staff.
“Hoi an relaxation”
REally great hotel - food, drinks, services on offer. Only criticism is level of English amongst majority of staff which is pretty awful. obviously much better than my Vietnamese but for a hotel of this size, I would expect rather better communication. other than that, staff v friendly and over all v. good.
“nice hotel, good service, nice pool”
We had a nice 2 night stay at this resort in early October. Our deluxe room was nice--quite large, but the sitting room had minimal furniture, so we had to rent an additional bed. A couch would have been nice. 2 bathrooms was great and the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and took advantage of the spa (there was a sale!).
“Nice place to stay once”
To far from the town centre. The hotel felt to big.Staff were always trying to take breakfast plates away before you had finished.Staff at the counter were not very friendly. Pool was very clean and nice.Breakfasts were beautifull.
“They try”
It's a bit tired, and a bit far out of town/from the beach. The shuttle bus service was erratic - didn't turn up and 7 people were stranded in town in a storm at night. No explanation. No apology. Building work next door was very noisy, but that's not their fault. Next time I'll stay in town and enjoy the night life.
“Customer Service is awful”
The customer service was the worst I have ever had. They outright lie to you. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay somewhere else.
