It was very enjoyable to stay at such an historic hotel. I had requested early arrival & while not guaranteed, Kellie got me in early. She was delightful to interact with overall. The breakfast option I felt wasn't a good option in terms of value for the price. The service & food quality at dinner, however, was exceptional. Happy Hour in the bar was quite fun. The walk from stop 5 on the Airport Express bus was very easy. Actually everything was very walkable from the hotel. I would stay here again & certainly recommend it to others!

Our stay at Hadleys was comfortable. The location is a convenient walk to the wharf and Salamanca with the market and eateries and bars. The ambience of the hotel attracted a more mature clientele who appeared to enjoy their experience. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful, comfortable, older traditional hotel. A bit dated because of it's age but it is in excellent condition with the charms of yesteryear. Elevator is small, stairs creek and electrical outlets are not standard heights above floor making some outlets unuseable. BUT location, location, location. Restaurant is great (get the fish chowder) bar is relaxing with great selection of drinks (try the gins). BUT the best was the service. Thank you front desk clerk Kitty. Your recommendations and help are much appreciated.

A fantastic old style hotel, we were made to feel welcome from check in to check out and at all points in between. Opted for daily breakfast which was top notch. As we stayed over Xmas we had the Xmas dinner which was fantastic and well worth it. Rooms were comfortable with air con and opening windows. The orient bar was well stocked and the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend anyone to stay here when in Hobart.

Wonderful stay at Hadley’s hotel. Very easy walk to the waterfront and Battery Point. I loved the friendly service and old-fashioned charm of the restaurant and bar. The rooms were spacious, and we had a lovely view of the church.

First of all, this is a beautiful hotel - I just love the decor. Secondly, our room was lovely and was just what we needed. Many thanks to the staff who changed us to a king bed, when I wrongly thought a queen bed could be split! Which brings me to my third - the staff were just wonderful. Accommodating, so helpful and so courteous. We were a bit lost at times and had many questions for them, and they answered each one graciously. Thank you - 5 stars!

VERY CONFORTABLE STAY WE FELT VERY WELCOMED FROM THE START AND NOTHING WAS TOO DIFFICULT FOR THE FRONT DESK STAFF THEY WERE ONLY TOO HAPPY TO ABLIGE TO ANY OF OUR REQUESTS. THE STAFF ARE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND EAGER TO ASSIST. THE HOTEL ITSELF HAS A WONDERFUL WARM OLD WORLD FEEL TO IT AND WE LOVED IT. THE RESTAURANT WAS WONDERFUL AS WAS THE FOOD. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO SHOPIING THE WHARF AND SALAMANCA IDEALLY LOCATED ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

We've booked the spa suite room, and loved the decors of the hotels and the room. Really liked the hot tub as it has jets that can help to melt away all tiredness from the day tours we have went. The staff is friendly and hotel room is clean. Its very convenient as well as its walkable to to elizabeth st pier, near the sky bustop, and 400m away there is woolworth as well to purchase anything that you need. Will come and stay here again next time when im coming over to tasmania hobart.

Highly recommend the Hadley Orient if you are traveling to Tasmania. What a fun boutique hotel in the heart of Hobart. Takes you back in time and adds such little touches, such as the “old timey” music playing in the lobby. Our room floor had a little squeak in the floor, but honestly, that didn’t even bother us, considering the place was so cute. Chelsea, the breakfast staff, was the highlight of the morning 5 stars just to her!

Love dthe old Victorian feel of the place . It’s not flashy but very comfortable. I loved reading about the history of the hotel and the people who have stayed there. There are some beautiful features including the lead light ceiling, the rattan furniture and local art works.

Lovely staff and beautiful hotel
The reception staff made me welcome from the moment of my arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the bar was a beautiful place to relax at the end of the day. Ideal location within walking distance of the waterfront and Salamanca. I stayed for over a week and don't have a single complaint.
